i have been known to talk to myself via skype for hours on end. amazing how well the echo works when using a mic and speakers.

also, when i did radio shows regularly... any time i had a guest on the show, i had them in via skype. including fish and NS's wedding, which had like 5 people on a conference call. i think guido and panda were on that call for a bit, maybe mead... good times.

I think choosing a place in the middle of America would be ideal so everyone would have "reasonable" access (or figure out if more active users are west/east coasters first and just do it that way) -- for west coast, definitely LA, and for east coast, definitely NY.
