More to the point: You're criticizing because on a MUSIC-based online game, nobody has a quick and easy solution for you to MUTE THE MUSIC on the MUSIC game?

Turn your speakers off, if that won't work for you, unplug your speakers and plug them into an mp3 player.

And anyway, not everyone is interested in learning how to mute flash players online... Most people if anything would rather learn coding on computers... BTW: Flash plugin gurus are not the FFR players-- they're the admins (AKA Jasonkeys, synth, xelius, and lightdarkness...)

Regular internet people = Runescape people

There have been quite a few times that I wanted to listen to other music either on my computer or online while I was either playing the game or in mp chat. The lobby music gets annoying when in the mp chat or going between songs and I think it would be a nice feature for FFR to have. Also, sometimes when I'm just whoring songs I do fine without the FFR music and would highly prefer other music. Don't know of a solution for internet explorer but I'll edit this post if I find it.

Edit: Just found this, looks like it would work pretty well:

I'm not on a computer with sound so I can't test it right now, but the download link on the website does work. It's capable of muting any sound that originates from your browser and it supports Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.

Whatever, at least I posted a link and showed that it IS indeed compatible with IE. Plus my post was mainly about why I could benefit anyways lol.
