Long songs would get too boring for me, and I would assume make getting the 40 credit token a lot easier. I know a vocal trance band that makes hour long songs. =)

There is a way we could make it harder, by saying it goes from Easy upwards to Challenging. This way it would be harder to get that token.

But a 30 min song would be grand.

EDIT: Oh try doing the Games We Played Part:1 to 5 in a row like I have That was challenging.

i'm officially tl;dr-ing this thread... because it's all god damn moot until you get permission.

and if you plan on doing a song this long, with permission, for FFR... but better damn well run it by me first. besides the obvious fact that otherwise you'd be wasting HOURS of your time when I'm most likely going to flat out reject it before even testing it.

TGWP sux. good steps by rebirth, but a very boring freaking file to play as well as the song.... WOW horrible. Why everyone has an obsession over TGWP is beyond me. I dont like the song at all. But thats just me.

As for the 30 min song... *Im lost for words.* Why would you think of this LOL?

I bet in a day you play atleast 30 minutes and more of ffr/stepmania and your playing differrent songs why not just play one awsome song with good steps and feal good about it your fingers will also feal it ^.^ lol.

just have my Mom play the complete Rustles of Spring, it's a classical piano piece, it takes about 20 minutes and is very fast with 32nds and 48ths, probably would be a guru's only, I know because I've looked at the music sheets, should have it recorded and sent to FFR

yes, yes, there's a multitude of scherzos, polonaises, and what-not that are extremely long. none end up as simfiles, though, since having a guru's song that long would be pretty impractical on FFR.
