You can't just assume from the general subject matter of a topic that someone has a given level of intelligence. ...Well, you can, but you'll most likely be proven wrong, as shown here. By outwardly flaming me, you're only asking to be proven wrong and made out to be total dillsmacks to everyone else on the board. Of course, if this is representative of the board on the whole, Synthlight has some work to do.

And not ONCE did you show that you recognized altairian's efforts to link you to threads that answered your questions. Sounds to me like you are wasting your time by posting all of these posts, and I suggest that you do more research into a topic like this before you start one of your own.

Thanks for bothering to post something of merit, by the way. I didn't recognize altarian's effort because I had already said I saw such topics and realized they had essentially become what this one has (which will in turn spawn another like topic for you to go worry about).

My flames aren't irrelevant. Just because people are too stupid or lazy to understand a slightly extended vocabulary and slightly more intellectual diction doesn't automatically unqualify what I say.

This entire topic is a waste of time at this point, I agree. The real point driving me now is to have people realize that if EVERY one of these topics turns into a flamefest, such topics will never cease to be created. By telling me I'm wasting their time (Which they chose to spend here by their own free will), they're setting themselves up to waste more in the future. Pardon me for looking to save them the trouble.

Also, research? What research is there on this? Honestly.

Research may be finding out some of the best players and see what they use. Or searching through the boards for earlier topics that had to do with this. I'm one of the best on these forums, and I can do one, or two hands. Though I do my best two handed.

We're not flaming you because you asked a n00b question. We're flaming you because you asked a n00b question, and then as soon as we pointed that out, you acted disrespectfully to the forum regs and didn't acknowledge your mistake. Instead, you denied you had ever made a mistake, pressed the issue, and more people were dragged into it. This whole thing could have been avoided if you had said a simple "oops, sorry, didn't know."

Something that might help is to put your questions in the n00b forum. Flaming isn't tolerated as well there.

You did come in without doing your research though. If you had gone to some of the newer topics like "Who have YOU challenged" , you would have seen a lot of the people saying things like "I could never beat ________", and "_______ just torched me". You could have done PM's to those people with questions.

Yes, it does come across as more work, but when you get down to it, you don't have to deal with any of this. Moderators created the stickies so that people would read them. Although a lot of them turn out like this, you can still glance through at the first few pages and get a lot of what you need without waiting for others to post, when it might be even LESS helpful than just looking through.

Stop continuing on an argument you already lost, acting like a total douchebag in the process. No one good cares who plays with one hands or who plays with two.
