Well I started index, so I never really read the arrows from left to right, just as they are. So when I decided to switch to spread I just used what felt right. So yeah, I play currenty <^26. Even when using ahk on laptops I still use the same fingers for the same arrows.

Well.
I can fc most very challenging songs.
But i want to do better on classic songs.
so i thought spread would be good.
my last 400 games have been spread.
its hard :/

switching is hard.. I've tried using 1-handed a bit, and it's very hard.

I use my Left Index, and Right Middle, and Ring.

I played 1 hand 3 fingers for like 1500 games, then found out i suck at it :P Then I switched to 2 hands 3-finger (My current style). Then I tried spread for about 600 games, quit it, then tried again for another few hundread games. Needless to say I hate spread and 3-finger is the style of the future and we will dominate spread players in the future
We already got smartdude and scottish. We have to add more to the list of elite 3-finger players lol.

Or really any keys other than just using the 4 arrow keys. You can use AHK to play with any keys you want.

How do you assign keys arrows?

INeedless to say I hate spread and 3-finger is the style of the future and we will dominate spread players in the future

Eh, I dunno about DOMINATING, but 3 fingered players can learn how to use 4 fingers at the proper times, and as a mix be able to use the advantages of both sides.

I play asfg. It is annoying to get my keyboard in a good position. I wanted to play zx23, but AHK won't work on 23 for some reason.

ive tried spread the last 500 games or something.
my scores havent increased yet, im going to keep it up until 2000 games.
if it doesnt increase im going back to normal.

I play the same style as you originally played, wich is left index and middle and right middle and ring. I can definitely say that you can get really good with that position and you can easily FC very challenging streams if you practice alot. I played 5000 games with that position and I can FC songs like Pretty Green Onions, TGWP Pt5 and Pt3, Legend, Shihen, but best of all, my PA is really improving.

If you're feeling more comfortable with spread, stick with it but all i'm telling is that you can get really better with 2 hands.

My pa was much better that way too.
and i could fc songs like sympathizer.
But i havent tried that song my original way yet.
streams are mega tough for me on spread too.
hope i get used to it.

Yea, I use my left middle every once in a while, but only when its like:
(42)8(42)6(42)8(42)6

That's like the only pattern I use 4 fingers.
