Well, I find my right hand faster in the air, while my left hand is faster laid down. This is the actual position I have my hands, when I play FFR AND when I'm typing. This actually is a very good method if you intend to get good at songs like MSGWO (Jumpstream is VERY easy with this style)

I rest my wrists on the edge of the desk for spread. For index they float around.

I just set my wrists on the table and go. Dont really care about carpal and neither should you
