Final Fantasy 3 Boss is too hard for me to play well, so I can't judge it very well. For Bicycle Break, somehow I feel like I should be able to do better on it than I am. Maybe I just need some practice. I think that the uneven rhythm throughout is what's making it trickier for me. I like jazz and this song, but think the lack of a constant, even rhythm makes the steps harder, IMO. Most of the songs in FFR seem to use even rhythms though, so there's no harm in a change now and then for some added variety.

I don't know what Shash is talking about.... I haven't changed my judging on longer files to take into account a need for harder steps.

star: Shash and I don't touch your file... the notes should be exactly the same as what you submitted to us, unless a few notes at the beginning were cut off because you didn't follow the rule of keeping the 1st 2 second blank. but i can guarentee i didn't change a single thing in that file.


EDIT. OOOH! now i remember.... I had rebirth change THREE notes. all jumps, because they caused 3-framers. and it was dumb to have that fairly straightforward and not that hard file to have THREE 3-framers in it randomly. so he changed one note in 3 places in 3 jumps, to remove the 3-framers.

FF3 Boss sucked so bad... It was complete and utter trash... Way over stepped, and not fun at all...

Bicycle Break was an amazing Jazz masterpiece! EXTREMELY great steps, and it was quite fun. I can't imagine this being stepped any better. The length is too long? No. You're just too impatient and should go kill yourself because life is too long to live for you.

The song is longer, but it basically just repeats the same thing one more time, so I cut it out early to make it a more fun file. I thought the string triples + guitar solo was the least fun part of the file and repeating it would not be very good at all.

FF3 Boss was a nice file, and I have to hi19 that the song is actually understepped. I actually enjoyed it alot though, don't get me wrong.

FF3 is overstepped, I love the song though.

Bicycle break is an all right song, the file is meh though.

havn't played ff3...but i think bicycle is really boring...well the steps are ok...its just the music i don't much care for

Uhh, Bicycle Break is kinda fun, just repetitive.

I don't think FF3 is overstepped at all. Even if it is, that's what makes songs fun! It's hard to step a song like that out without it being too easy. IMO it's just a perfect difficulty.

Nice job Dore, this has to be one of your better simfiles IMO.
