Re: Does FFR Give One Large Forearm Muscles?
Yeah man, those ladies love those massive anchor arms that look as though all you do all day is masturbate.
I really did have much bigger forearm before when I played FFR onehanded. I also used to play a lot of SM onehanded. Now, I never play SM and I only rarely play FFR, and when I do play FFR, it's index.
Maybe the thing that makes for bigger forearm is 16th streams. A lot of onehanded players have trouble getting into that level of play, and that would explain why a lot of people playing onehanded would say it doesn't make a difference. If I play onehanded now, I can do mostly everything I used to be able to, except faster 16th streams. I used to be able to nearly A Quasar consistently, but now I can't even pass it. Logic would say that my forearm muscle being smaller is an indication that the muscle that was bigger was the one which is used for quick and repetitive alternating motion of the fingers.
I used to have almost 0 protein intake (for a whole summer, my diet consisted chiefly of: 1 pack of ramen noodles every day), and I still gained muscle (this was during the time when I used to play SM and FFR a lot). Obviously, greater protein intake would result in more effective muscle mass growth (such as in weight lifting). Even so, a person does not need to take in LARGE amounts of protein to build muscle; it's just better if they do. Either way, I'm sure that the level of protein intake has little effect on such a relatively small muscle growth.

Sorry, not to be rude, but you're dead wrong.
