AAA is the highest possible score you can get for a song. Most of which are 0 goods 0 averages 0 misses 0 boos.

So... did I get my AAA and FC mixed up?

Why make it complicated, AAA is all perfs with nothing else.

Screenshrinking is the best way to increase PA, IMO. And the more you train yourself with using this, the better you'll be (oh, and you wouldn't be able to do well with full screen much anymore; you will have an eerie feeling with the fullscreen).

I wasn't using it as a term or anything... just being literal. I shrunk my screen.

It makes it seem as though the arrows are moving faster, making them easier to read.

wow this is unbelievable
i tried it once before and didn't like it but after reading this thread i decided to give it another go.... and then on my first try got a PC (well i missed one in the last 5 steps..grrrr) on Maple Leaf Rag... i could barely do it before
i still don't quite get why making the arrows seem faster makes it easier... but somehow it does

The less arrows on screen, the easier it is to concentrate, the more on screen, the harder it is for brain to process which leads to more mistakes. By focusing on few things at a time, often best results are achieved, just like in life.

I don't think its so much that. Its more that most people are used to using mods faster than c300-c400. Which is what normally FFR runs at. By cutting the screen, it fools your mind into seeing them come faster (IE you have less time to react).

That's right in the majority cases, but to be technical, rade is right; AAAs can include a few goods when all perfs aren't possible (most of the Guru's Only songs, for example).

For the most part though, AAA = all Perfects, 0 Boos.
