Nice PA Euro, mine's a ****-ton worse. It's because I have a tendency to slow down during nonstop 8th jumps.....A problem I must resolve.

Great song for practicing. Jump streams (Kinda), streaming, and trills.
All of the fun stuff. Good job Sash.

        I hate the trills.

They go with the music, but I can't do 868686868 and 2424242424 for Horse-****.

        Definitely my least favorite part.

              Bump.

Shash, this file is error-ridden XD Fun, but sloppy. I know just what part Afrobean was talking about, and yeah, he's right. It's the part with 8th jumps and then a triplet repeating for awhile. I think this pattern comes up twice. It's really fun to play, but the 16ths go to percussion you've generally been ignoring otherwise, and the 8th jumps are just there, like Afro said. This "technique" used to be used in SM files all the time, until people decided that being more precise made better files.

There's one section where a keyboard solo loops twice, but has percussion on the second loop. You used an 8th stream for the first loop and a 16th stream for the second. The percussion didn't produce this, as it's pretty minor, and mostly consists of quarter note bass drumming. The last note is off by an 8th, and the runningman stuff right by the end is done all wrong. The trills need an 8th gap in them once a measure, and they stop trilling after four measures, where you keep them going.

All in all, very fun, very messy. Really fun to play on FFR. The song should be in the Arcade genre, as Afro mentioned. KlungKung 1655 was in Keyboardmania 3rd Mix. I hope we see more DMAshura on FFR, although I'm sure many would disagree.

edit: ClAsSiC_RoCkEr, you're above me in the FFR standings, right? It's an easy AAA for me.

that was the point, to be fun and not really to go picture perfect to the music...most of the things you pointed out I'd actually noticed, but decided to ignore because I wanted to keep things simple. The 8th jump part, the running man patterns at the end and the trills not really staying as trills the whole time were all intentional "mistakes"...the only one that wasn't intentional was the jump at the end, don't know how I messed that up =(

The only thing where I really don't agree with you at all is you thinking the 8th stream-to-16th stream is a mistake...that feels PERFECTLY on to me, actually more than basically any part of the whole file except the beginning part.

Picture-perfect to the music is my next file, though...which everyone will hate and call horrible XD

Ah, I see. Yeah, the file kinda reminds me of Get Down. FFR should have more files like this, actually.

I'd like to know why you think that :P Listen carefully (2:11-2:33). The keyboard solo is playing out 16ths the whole time, with every other note being much lower than the rest. This makes it easy to put either 8ths or 16ths to it, since the 8ths are much more dominant. However, it makes to sense to step it as 8ths and then switch to 16ths. The only thing that might be 16ths in the percussion is the really, really quiet hi-hat thing. It's playing in the first loop, so there would be no reason to only step it the second time around.

It's a completely irrelevant point now that you've cleared up what you wanted the file to be like. I just want to try to prove I'm right because I'm an egotistic bastard.

I dunno, that section just feels right to me, maybe it technically isn't right but w/e

My next file is a lot better than EHHS, which was the 2nd file I'd ever stepped rofl, and it was really crappy even for a jumpstream file, I'm not gonna lie. The new one's retardedly hard, but fits the music pretty much perfectly (I stepped the ENTIRE thing on .5 music, and some of it on .3). Reminds me of Molto, with harder non-jack parts, and easier jacks, although it still has jacks.

To be honest, **** that sounds as rediculous as you make it sound to be is just stupid and seems to be a waste of time. Even if it is technically proficient, why is proficiency replacing fun <_<.

I love jacks, and I love difficulty, but I hate songs that you play and by the end of it, you are like "wtf?"

Honest to God... Shash's file for release in 2 weeks is RETARDLY hard.. but at the same time... goes VERY well to the music.

AKA... the SONG is retardedly hard. And no, it isn't some BS IDM crap. The song is almost 200 years old. Classical Pwnage in the form of Tass to Shash steppage.

                          sorry couldn't resist

And yeah, the song is just insanely hard, it's not like EHHS where I just put ridiculous steps to a pretty tame song lol

EDIT: Also, songs that would only be in arcade because they're from other music games aren't always put in arcade--see Delirium, and probably a few others that I can't think of. After Me is in there though, so I dunno.

I just meant EHHS v2 as in really hard, not technical proficiency. I even pointed out something really, really dumb in EHHS right when it came out. Oh yeah, it was the 32nds to the flute. Hahaha.

hmm retardly hard songs dis seems familiar

oh yeah its all ffr used to be able to do lol

Worse, they're the 24ths that cause the red note syndrome XD

I still blame my friend, who denies suggesting I put 24ths there XD
