the motivation for team implementation was SDK
because no other admin is going to push for it when we can work on other more useful things, especially not LD, he can push for WAY better things because he codes, and none of the other admins are in teams
so if I basically disband SDK then it's bye teams idea which I'm fine with if people act like this

If I get no players at my skill level on my team then it's no fun anymore sorry. if the team implementation thing starts then it should take a certain amount of credits to join/leave a team because this is ridiculous.

bandit/Privateer: Wanted a group of their own with a good, small number of players. They would compete with SDK. This should help even more to jumpstart the team implementation because there is now a reason for it.

Teams are useless. What's going to end up happening is all the top 20 or 30 are going to be on two separate teams and if a third wants to get in on it, they are screwed.
Either that or some total-leet member in a group will disband since he thinks the rest of the group is crap and start his own. This trend may continue for a while until the initial team is gone.

We were going to boot two people, admit one more, and close all admissions. That's what we discussed over AIM. We have three elites, and three very good players, and 4 players we picked up because of their potential.
Bandit and I discussed this a lot.
Nothing was wrong with our group...at all. We didn't suck the good players, we tried pushing the idea of teams ahead by making some competition to the completely untouchable team you had made.
EDIT: How can you say we're taking the good players? If they didn't "betray" you, the teams would be completely unbalanced.

Your group (assuming it actually gets made at some point in time) has nima, reach, and privateer. Now aperson isn't even on SDK, but if he was the only person that could beat them consistantly is him. I can only beat nima reach and you in MA. Now the only person on SDK that could beat members of your team is linus, and linus disgraced my team by asking to join yours, so even if I kept the team going I wouldn't let him be in it anymore.
I'm fine with not having all of the best, but apparently, you missed the point. You obviously don't want to be competitive because you're like "We WILL become the superior team" or whatever.

There are not very many people on this team. Infact, compared to SDK there are few. Where's the competition? With so many people on your side, wouldn't it be considered that your team would be the ultimate here? I guess not.

Someone comes up with this great idea, and then another person see's it and thinks "Oh, that's great! I should do that too." and so competition starts. But now you're whining about it and complaining how that we're too good? Well then, I guess maybe you should pull up your socks and just do something about that? Maybe you should make your team better?
I guess you didn't think about that.
