that was really good, the only thing i know that could improve it would be puttin a lil bit more enthusiasm in the vocals, but its not enough to worry about to redo them, just my opinion.

I agree. It's my first time ever attempting to rap, so I was learning what worked as a went a long. I re-recorded everything like three times. I would have redone the vocals a fourth time with more expression, but dude, it is a lot of effort. I don't have the best rhythm (pertaining to vocals! I have the skillz in music performance and DDR/FFR stuff ), so I had to cut the recordings up into little pieces almost down to each syllable and arrange them to be better in time. It takes a while, and I was getting sick of this song .

If there are more people interested in making stepfiles or whatever, the tempo is 110 bpm (Yanah already asked me).

EDIT: Oh yea, but the piano intro moves at a faster tempo that is not steady. If it helps (I dunno if it does; I'm not familiar with making stepfiles), from the beginning of the mp3 when it says 'play', to where the beat busts in is 8 measures of 110 bpm TIME. The piano runs at a faster, varying tempo, so it can start later, and ends right at the 8 measure mark. Hope that helps.

I don't think I'm going to do that. First of all, this song is done, and it has been submitted already to FFR, OCRemix, VGmix, and Mp3.com. I can't really change that many versions of it. I'm also not going to make a separate version. As I said, vocals are a bitch quite often to insert, and I'm tired of working on this. I'm not coming back to it. The whole reason I decided to do this mix was to give myself a challenge (rapping) and see if I could make it sound decent. I think I did that, and if I just trash my vocals, it would be kinda pointless for me. (The music part of the song isn't really some of my best work, in my opinion). So, regardless of how good Ark is, I don't think I want to do it.

No, guys, go ahead and make the stepfiles if you want to. I'd like to try some different patterns. Yanah gave me what he made, and some of it was messing me up. I dunno if it was because I suck (which I do) or because Yanah's steps are wonky. Also, some steps during the piano entrance would be great.
