Re: Files that annoy you?
Here are mine.
Any Legacy chart.
Any Xander chart.
Coffin: What is dis.
A Correspondances Illumitees: Feels really offsync at the beginning.
Any 3 minute+ rock song.
Any brony song: nothing to do with the stepfiles, moreso to do with the music
CS Gun Sounds: Self-explainatory
Club: FFFFUUUUUUU! Annoying file.
Ripoff: Why is this song in the game?
RATO: Nuff said.
CP v1: Dat trill...Last edited by SC_coolguy44; 06-25-2012, 02:34 PM.Comment

Re: Files that annoy you?
I was like, who the hell is this Xander guy people keep hatin on? So I went to the song list and ctrl+f'd him and I gotta say, a lot of his stuff IS very much shit. WWE, anyone?
However, there's some stuff I really enjoy, even if it is a bit derpy:
- Clockwork
- October
- So13 (Hate it all you want, the chart is appropriately stepped and it's musically fun)
- Sonata Quasi
Totally agree with the ska music hate. Ska should've died with No Doubt in the 90s. Hearing it puts my anachronistic rage on.
Also I LOVE Kono Spoon. WTF guys. Hating on stuff just because you can't PA it. Who doesn't have a great time playing something as silly as Kono Spoon?Last edited by Mike Weedmark; 06-25-2012, 02:36 PM.

Re: Files that annoy you?
mfw madnight hates behanjc files, some of the funnest technical pieces we have in game.
I generally seem to dislike Wallbased / burst-oriented files perhaps not because they are technically correct or incorrect but just because the concept of them is more of a luck-based situation in a 30FPS flash game rather than being based on actual "skill".
Otherwise, I generally also dislike Synthlight / BNS files, for obvious reasons (offsync, wrong steps etc) but most have gotten v2s and hopefully will all be facelifted in the future.Comment

Re: Files that annoy you?
Yay! I didn't make it in Middie's short hate list (:
EDIT: To contribute to this thread, I don't find any files annoying. Everything, including but not limited to pattern choices, framer issues, syncing, etc. all serves the purpose of making files difficult and this is what makes FFR enjoyable to play. FFR is simply a game that is made to have fun by following the taps of a stepartist's interpretation of the music. Maybe many are not fond of the stepping styles of some, but the fact that there is a variety of styles in the game makes FFR more interesting and fun to play.Last edited by iironiic; 06-25-2012, 03:46 PM.Comment

Re: Files that annoy you?
I agree with most of what Middie listed, Behanjc/Xandertrax files need to be ripped from this game and never allowed back in, TECHNICALITY DOES NOT ****ING MEAN FUN. This does not mean technical files can't be fun, but those two took it and pumped it full of retardation.
