I'd have to go with waffles. I like the crispiness. I also like being able to overflow them with syrup in an organized manner.

Unless they're chocolate chip pancakes, where the chocolate chips are melted inside.

Mmm. I should make a sandwich with strawberry waffles and chocolate chip pancakes. Yes.

Waffles are quite obviously better... all the little squares fit lots of syrup in. Pancakes are soggyish and just bleh.

Waffles. I like attempting to only fill in certain squares with syrup. Haven't done that in awhile though.
