I leave and go back too because I'm the same way. If I play something over and over in a row I tend to get worse at it. So I'll play it a few times, play something else, go back, repeat lol. Or I switch between mirror and nonmirror.

How on earth can people play songs that many times and improve?
My skill goes stale after about 5 consecutive tries and I end up going backwards.

I found it easiest to leave it and go play something well above it in terms of difficulty, get comfortable, then return.

Though my strategy doesn't seem to be doing me much justice this round. x:

I remember playing over 1300 times on Over the Frail Dream in one of the Official tournaments trying to improve my two clean score to meet the AAA cutoff. Unfortunately I was eliminated that round haha. So much effort for nothing

It works both ways haha

D'aw and omg Over the Frail Dream how much I love and hate that file all at the same time lol.

I see a little over 800 on Futari for you XD That was like me in the 5th official with Sunshine Stone I had over 900 x.x

You know, i'll really try to get some attempts out tomorrow and Sunday. I need to study for exams first. I'll see how many attempts I can pump out before the round ends.

Definitely, I like seeing people that are willing to work that hard and push themselves. I mean early on I saw some people complain with only like 3 plays on their song and I'm like dude wtf you haven't even tried. It's like people expect the files to just be easy for them all the time x.x What sucked for me in the 5th official is I wasn't starting over in the beginning of the file the end was what was killing me so like all 900 something of those plays were basically complete XD

I barely play my songs compared to some of you <_<
I almost never play them more than 3 times in a row, and tend to play many other songs every 1 or 2 attempts

only 35% of my plays on the tiebreaker were on the song

Hense why I made vROFL

I put over 300+ attempts in one song and 700+ in another just to get it this year.

At first I wasn't cool with Rarity being in D2, but he deserves it.

I see a little over 800 on Futari for you XD That was like me in the 5th official with Sunshine Stone I had over 900 x.x

Still don't believe you had 1500 plays on it, sorry. I can believe you played in the upper 100s maybe.

almost every song I play now is a restart
about 600 of those restarts were in the first 45 seconds but still man

I very seriously doubt that considering you only have 32 recorded plays on it. Even if you were restarting you would have most likely taken more breaks than that in 1500 plays. Unless you were just restarting the beginning over and over again.

I did 1500 on beatrice to pass round 5 get on my level

I very seriously doubt that considering you only have 32 recorded plays on it. Even if you were restarting you would have most likely taken more breaks than that in 1500 plays. Unless you were just restarting the beginning over and over again.
