Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

Thanks so much Eze! While this thread is still a WIP that'll make things much easier to put in the first post.

Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

I'd appreciate if someone could get the list of artist permissions we've gotten from pages 4 to now.

Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

I know a number of people are looking for Pokemon music to step, so your permission's greatly appreciated. ^_^

Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

I just got full permission from TheGuitahHeroe (you may know him from OCRemix), feel free to step his music if you wish.

http://www.youtube.com/user/TheGuitahHeroe

He also gave us permission to use music from his alias "Jamison Randall", and he requests that this be listed separately from TheGuitahHeroe.

You can contact him on either Youtube channel if you need an MP3 file (for any of his music that's buy-only).

Also, as arrogant as I'm going to sound with this, I give permission for my own music, if any of you somehow find any of it remotely steppable.... I just want to get this over with in a single post, heh. *idiot*

Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

I'm actually really excited for this permission

With immense amount of help from Jimerax, Yuyoyuppe has granted us as Jx describes it:

Yeah it looks he gave you (us) blanket permission as long as we use for non-commercial purpose.

From what he said, you need to inform him when one of his songs is added to the game (not sure this is optional or not).

For the purpose of proof:

You guys are gonna be seeing lots of vocaloid songs from me. Though, I do hope GundamDude converts over Prayer. That'd be so much fun to play in the FFR engine.

Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

Got a message from Ghakimx regarding a clarification about the G5 Project:

The G5 Project songs are the incorrect way of listing the artist. Generally, it is not the same artist but a group of artists or label doing the songs. To make it clear, this is the correct tracks with their respective artists.
Mascarada - Takajii
Alchemy - Godspeed
Freak - ニケ (Nike)
While no issue for the first two, I do not know about the last one. If Scintill continues this, people will get a misconception which is that G5 is a single artist and that they will send in the songs we do not have permission for.

I'll change the current artists, especially since we've listed Godspeed as a separate artist in another song (Sigh).

INCOMING POST DUMP

I was waiting for cedolad to finish up Blanket Permission genres and permission posts, but that never got finished. I did the first half basically.

Then I tried looking through this thread to see what other permissions to add. Got to the first 2 pages I think, then stopped -- the amount of time this takes up is massive and I don't have nearly enough time now.

I haven't forgotten about this thread, but at the same time things didn't go as I planned they would, haha.

That's alright. Besides, I got another permission from GalliumGrant (not sure if this is conditional):

And the links to the songs in the snapshot above:
Andore Cage Fight
Dusk Dust
Dragonspiral Tower
Egyptian Dunes (Nesert Nitro)
Lala19357 Battle Theme
Here is his Youtube channel, where you can find more of his music: http://www.youtube.com/user/GalliumGrant/videos?view=0

Also...

If you'd like to share the link to my YouTube channel, go right ahead. It'd be definitely appreciated. :>

I'll also consider signing up, possibly.

This has not been confirmed yet.

EDIT: VictoryRoad.net's Founder has replied to my message.

Someone copied me this, so I figured I'd respond.

Yes, you do have permission to use my remixes on Flash Flash Revolution.

I actually knew a few people who played that game a few years ago.

Re: Artist Blanket Permissions v6

It should, but rarely is now. I wonder what's the status quo at the moment.
