Truthfully yeah, Most Proficient files are fun, A lot of proficient onces are made solely to be retarded. (thats if they aren't bs lol mswgo). This just doesn't happen to be, in my opinion.

Oh and someone do everyone a favor, remove that last double. It's stupid and makes us sit there for an extra 10 seconds lol.
Yeah I do apologize for my first comment, I just disagree with what Anuj said, a lot of people can read that fast on FFR, just because you are used to speed mods (which I agree help significantly) doesn't mean you have to attack FFR. This is how FFR is (until 3rd style anyway), and a lot of people can read that fast.

And I agree, what's the point of the last jump? It's like Nova Pulser.

So, wait, what kind of 'last jump' is this? The one at the very end of the super enlongated ending noise?

Your complaint is that there aren't many people who can do well on it. If you were one of them, I highly doubt you'd be complaining. Therefore, I reason that your main complaint is that the file is, to be blunt, too hard for you. I'm not trying to attack you, I just don't think your reason for complaining is valid.

I really don't think there's a way to make this file any easier without turning it into all 8ths. It's just fast song with 16ths in it, and stepping it as something else just wouldn't flow right IMO.

PS - If you guys think this is too hard and sacrifices fun factor for technical proficiency, you're really, really, REALLY going to hate next week's song, which was made with no fun factor in mind and ALL technical proficiency in mind.
And thats why I'm reacting in this way, because thats not the reason i'm makign the complaint. I'm more of a Stepmania troll, so i'll use that as an example. So lets take Death Reveals. Fast song, I can't do well on it, yeah its pretty retarded to me but I can't say anything because I'm just not that good at it thats all. I don't complain about the file however, because well look, the files pretty proficient, and I guess its fun if you are trying to prove how good you are to someone else.

I'd rather play a fun song then one thats exact. I love Szamar Madar, I'd take that over any lawn wake made. Thats my point. I don't care about how well I do. If I did I'd been playing non-stop since I came here almost two and a half years ago. I just only recently discovered that SS was a good way to improve scores epecially for main SM players like myself. So FFR has a new appeal to me.

And as for next weeks song. Why? Why would we want to play a song that has no intention of being fun? Thats like going trick or treating without an intention of getting candy!

I'm not sayign no one will want to play it, but its the type of song that when people play it the bad players say "LOOK WHAT I CAN GET THROUGH!" the mediocre players say "Eh, this songs pretty tough, hate it", and the Advanced players say "Songs easy, I'll beat you in multiplayer in it".

Each persons own feeling does change on a level/basis of how well they can do a song. Thats not me however. I apologize again if my initial response was blown out of proportion it just seemed like an attack. Not so sure I like becoming an example either. Your comment seemed pretty blunt.

This is pretty much exactly my point...why are you complaining about LWIV then?

And as for next weeks song. Why? Why would we want to play a song that has no intention of being fun? Thats like going trick or treating without an intention of getting candy!

"Fun" is subjective. Some people have fun playing songs like Hyper Pressure or Klung Kung, and others have fun playing songs like OMW and Molto--not necessarily because they can do well on them, but because they have fun playing ridiculously hard songs.

If I thought not a single person would enjoy playing the file (like, say, if the file was one gigantic 320BPM 16th jack on the up arrow), then of course I wouldn't submit it. I know SOME people will like it (likely the same people who like most ridiculous Classical songs) and some people, probably the people who like Klung, will hate it. Doesn't bother me.

Not so sure I like becoming an example either. Your comment seemed pretty blunt.
Like I said, I was really intending to make a more general comment--I just used your quote because it was the last one made, but I easily could've used Anuj's or Robby's instead.

I agree with L2D. I loved EHHS but this is definitely the most retarded ****ing file I have ever played. Killed a great song. So many unnecessary steps to this that went with every little tiny beat that you probably need to jack the volume way up to hear. I'm not complaining that I can't read it, because it's easy to read. But the song is just retarded.

jeebus you ppl, the steps to that song are great, making the song more "fun" (easier) and less technical isnt the problem here, if you can actually read the file then you wont have a problem with it, Kit- ftw

wtf so many ppl complain about this.
If this song is slow nobody will complain even it has the same step.

you guys are going to HATE the song coming out today...

it's a 13 by FFRs difficulty system... a definite 6 by the thread in FFR General.

my best in a few attempts:

i'm sure i can do better... at least 500 or 600 combo, if not even a FC if i get really really lucky.

Sorry but Anuj is right. The timing sucks and nothing this fast can be played on the speed of FFR. I've been playing SM and I'm fast and this song isn't a problem at all. I even feel like i'm hitting every single arrow, but i get random misses because the FFR timing blows :-/

and the steps are overdone, imho.
