I don't plan on playing super competitively unless I get really good.

I'm no god at SM, but it's still hell of fun. Playing it online i've found to be even more fun cause you get friendly competition. Most of everyone i've found on SMO are quite welcoming. So you dont have to be super competitive to still enjoy stepmania
