Yeah I never got the hang of FFR and wasnt a fan of the frame-based timing so I don't ever plan on picking it up. Not really sure how serious of a rivalry you want lol but feel free to name a song or something, idk

It will be for fun mostly. Depends how serious you want it to be as well. Lately I've been playing about 3 times a week so I don't completely wreck my hands.

yeah wrecking your hands is never fun, for about a week after I took that two week break I went way too hard and hurt my left hand pretty bad (wrist swelled literally an inch lol), but lately my hands have felt great

That's good. The only thing I ever benefited from playing a ton was getting a lot of stamina. Other than that, my speed dropped significantly.
