- 2.132: Purely subjective note, but I find the chord rhythm a lot more interesting than the drums, your approach is fine but following the drums with jumps and then completely ignoring the chords feels like a missed opportunity for a more interesting file. (I wouldn't follow both the chords and the drums tho, that would make it way too cluttered)
- 2.608: I consider using [24] for both kicks and claps in such close proximity bad PR and it's a consistent issue throughout the file.
- 3.719: Are these jumps because of chord + clicky sound?
- 8.957: Here there is no click, so why the jump? I would've put the jump on the 4th before it if you don't want the jumpglut.
- 10.544: So the jump structure isn't chord + hi-hat either because this is a single, don't really get the jump use here.
- 16.576: I hate making so many abstract notes, but here you have a chord that suddenly goes up in pitch but in your layering it's just another single, it doesn't stand out while it's an important shift in the music.
*** 31.259 and all other instances throughout the file: After the 4th it's a 16th and not two 24ths.
- 36.417, 42.132, : This jump shouldn't be on column 1, the breathy sound isn't there.
- 39.592: This jump shouldn't jack with the others, different type of vocals on this.
- 46.100: Why is this part of the jack?
- 49.433: It would be so cool if the ''wea-sel''(?) part of the vocals would be [4][1], but throughout this section everything is [4][1]... nothing is highlighted.
- 52.925: Patterning like this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, it's prevalent throughout the entire file I don't get the random jack stuff.
- 64.195: These jacks are so random and artificial, it makes an otherwise coherent structure incoherent.
- Side note but there's also a constant repition of jacks on columns [2] and [3] throughout the file and repeated in such a way that you'd think sounds are repeating but they're not.
- 72.290: Some seperation between jumps here would do wonders for this file, this being effectively a 4 jump glut makes very little sense.
- 75.783: Missing jump?
- 76.894,77.846: Changing these to 16th's means that 76.894 could be made a jump.
- 87.846: No jack here like 82.290 and 86.100?
- 91.656: Man this section could be so interesting by following the chords with jumps or something.
- 151.338 etc.: I don't see how this is a hand, I can get behind 150.703 and I definitely understand 151.656, that's a cool hand, but 151.338 doesn't even warrant a jump imo.
- 165.068, 172.687: Missing?
This file desperately needs a cut, it's repetitive and a bit boring. There are also some consistent structural issues that would require a complete overhaul to fix. The song isn't terribly interesting either, you could make it work but like I said you'd need to revisit alot of the patterns to make the vocals/different elements stand out more and find a cut.
