** I really don't like how this chart lies to the player about quantizations.
--> 48.166-49.537 dumps vocals using 20th note colouring... but the only the first beat is 20ths and the rest are recoloured 16ths.
--> 82.452 does the same, but worse because the jumpstream is unbroken, so it slows down while looking exactly the same except for note spacing.
--> Contrast this with places like 87.937 (and other similar instances) where the quantization *is* 20ths, but one note is omitted so it looks like recoloured 16ths.
** I'm also not really sure what you're trying to dump sometimes, and have issues with dump representation occasionally when you do.
--> 48.509-49.880: Vocal syllables are all very clipped and stilted in this section, and play constant 8ths, yet they receive dumpstreams except for the last beat where it's just 8th jumps and hands.
--> Things like 52.195 are more confusing than helpful as accenting. I can't tell if you're following the subtle 16th synth here or trying to dump just the first of these three syllables. This is the problem with trying to dump 16ths *and* follow instrumentals with 16ths--it just turns into a big mishmash where everything is ambiguous.
--> 65.137 gets a burst, but not 67.880?
--> Let's focus on the 16th jumpstream from 90.680-93.423. This is conspicuously not recoloured white (why? what determines whether you recolour vocal dumpstreams?), and it also continues the 16th dumping even when no vocals are being held (91.366-91.709, 93.080-93.423).
~
This file has a serious clarity problem, and I don't see a good way of salvaging it without reworking the dump quantizations from the ground up. I want the colouring in this file to say what it means, and I want the dump rhythms and patterning to be distinguished enough from the instrumentals that the player can actually tell when you're following vocals vs. other instruments. Right now it is much too muddy. [5.5/10]

I'm preemptively appealing this if it gets rejected and lands in appeal range

- Offset's okay.
Dump sections are confusing to me in this one. Most of it feel like they're there, just real lack of clarity of what dictates using 20ths and the recolored ones here. If you're going to dump the vocals, in my view, don't ever hold yourself back in doing so - if you're using 20ths for the continuous syllables, then do that, instead of recoloring them to the closest 16ths.
Take 6.408 vs. 41.130 for example. My question would be why would these be colored 16ths, but yet these are the vocals that just about to sound all the same as the other 20ths that are prevalent? As someone who are versed to play dumps, even I can't determine what your idea was for these - not because they are unreadable blob of notes, but because there is no real precedent on what accenting you want to take this file going to.
But as a file, it's inoffensive. I don't have much to say about the underlying density, not a spike in sight so that's good at the very least. Sections like 1:19.708~ would be one of those examples of using 16ths, yet the opportunity of using 20ths in the vocals is not taken.
This file feels like you're holding yourself back in making a consistent effort to put dumps onto the vocals, but it's done very selectively for most if not all for the wrong reasons. Not a fan, unfortunately. [5/10]
