- 1:47.246 it feels really wierd to not have white notes to fill in this section. Its an odd choice to choose to follow them and then just ignore them for the rest of the section. I'd suggest filling in the empty space with white notes.

- 1:57.358 the pitch of the white notes changes here, so you should change the 4 note pattern too.

Now lets talk the elephant in the room. The difficulty spike in the middle is just too much. It feels like half way through we switch to a different chart. There are two main issue that cause this. First 0:12.526 - 0:55.335 only follows the melody and is undercharted. Second 1:05.448 is just way too dense compared to the rest of the chart. One of these two issues needs to be fixed to give the chart a more balanced difficulty. For 0:12.526 you could try things like layering in the percussion, or using jumps for the main melody. this would boost the difficulty to be more in line with 1:05.448. At 1:05.448 you could try getting rid of all the jumps. the section would still be quite tricky without them. with 0:33.762 just focusing on only the melody and not even adding percussion notes during the rests it feels quite empty compared to the harder charts, and a step down in difficulty from the previous section, despite being an increase in intensity of the song. 1:17.920 is cool, but maybe get rid of some of the percussion layering to tone down the section a little. Now you dont need to do all of these things. These are just ideas to point the chart in the right direction, but i really do feel the difficulty needs to be brought in line in one direction or the other.

Judge Score: 6.50 - Rejected

kawaiibossa#3 (basicdrummerman & Lights)

- Offset's fine for the most part.

8.144 - Should be a jump. (compare wih 10.841)
21.965 - Flip the PR for this 4th and 8th, the PR is not reversed in this.

(hindsight note, after writing this review: while the PR for triplets aren't exactly strict, but I can't..... put my finger on why the ordering of your triplets are slightly inconsistent - take 15.223 for example: you have 132-132 as the motif you have, but then you break the rules on 17.920 with 231-123-234 here. But then the following 23.903 the triplets are consistent again: 134-134 as the motif. All I've got to say is that check to make sure your triplets are in the right spot, because some of them are okay, but not in others. Not a dealbreaker, but it definitely irks me.)

33.313 - Omitting 24ths here is a strange decision. (you have it on 6.347, so why not do that here as well?)
55.167 - This is a loud accent, please make this a jump.
1:18.088 - ah we're getting to this now hah, this feels spicy
1:25.363 - Don't think this should be a flam, or at least the accent isn't as appropriate as, say 1:26.375 for example.
1:42.189 - This is the only segment of white notes that somehow doesn't have a similar motif to 1:38.650 or 1:54.830. Move the notes around maybe?

Quite decent, I like the idea of incorporating chiptunes as the main motif even though it isn't strictly followed, but I suppose that's kind of the main thing this chart has. Won't lie, but first half I felt dubious about the layering since it could be spiced up by layering on this 34.184 segment, as it felt pretty empty to me. It's a good chart, but I would expect the minor points I made to be fixed pretty easily. [7.5/10, Change Recommended]

Judge Score: 7.50 - Change Recommended

Checking in on the status of this submission, as it's past the 1 month probationary period with a "Change Recommended" flag, but there's been no acknowledgment of judge notes or fixes submitted.

Files/Songs with the "Change Recommended" tag require at a minimum a response from the Stepauthor in order to continue through the submission system.

I will check back on this at a later date. If it does not receive a response or fix by then, it could risk rejection.

update coming soon, promise

Promise has been honored, I have rejected every other Fixes Required/Change Recommended file without response, except for this one.

A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
----------
Note Count changed: 808 => 812
AVG NPS changed: 6.17108 => 6.20163
Hand Bias changed: -14 => -16

Storn:

1:47.246 - Left empty for the dual purpose of focusing on the rhythm of the lead melody and for managing difficulty on the backend. Left as-is.

1:57.358 - Good call, changed.

Larger Note - The scope of this note is beyond what I'm willing to address in a CR. I recognize you advised a reject due to the gravity of this, but given its received a passing score I'm going to elect not to make any major changes to the approach.

Mipha:

8.144 - Fixed.

21.965 - Tried to touch up the PR through this section in accordance to your note. I did not originally step this section so I'm kinda flying by the seat of me pants trying to refine the idea.

33.313 - Fixed.

55.167 - Only because you said please c:

1:18.088 - Yeah, but its literally the only interesting thing in the file imo, so its going to stay as is.

1:25.363 - Changed to a non-flammed color accent.

1:42.189 - Fixed.
