Cold Heart (Pizza69) [7/10] [Fixes Required]
- Perms, metadata, sync are good
Gonna mention this right off the bat, there's a huge disparity in difficulty between the first half and the second half, where the first half of the file plays mostly like filler. Some parts at the 2nd half are really pushing the difficulty boundries for this file (low-mid 100s), and personally I'd be extremely mad having to grind them in an OT where it feels like it's an RNG fest to do. I think it primarily comes from the note below, if it's mitigated a bit, then it could be fine afterwards.
**2:24.671-2:28.757 - I think this part is really pushing it. The complexity & density of the streams/bursts marks it the spikiest section in the file for me. While it captures the intensity of the song quite well, I find it to be too backloaded. I don't think this will be very fun to play regularly especially in an OT setting.
This file has me conflicted a bit. It's very well made, but the prime meat of this is at the second half and it gets stiff fast. If you can somewhat nerf the note above that'd be great. After that, I have to sit on this and see if it grows on me, and find more problematic spots in my playtesting.

Cold Heart (Pizza69)
- Offset's good.
My general gist of the chart upon initial review is that I've mentioned that this chart being on the backloaded side - around the last 45 seconds of the chart is where the overdone side is. From a charting standpoint, this isn't the most ideal way to introduce a scoring benchmark given the patterns and the way they are handled, but something has to be done here so it can alleviate some stresses of grinding this too often.
9.346 - Going to have to compromise with this being a single, sound isn't that striking enough to warrant a jump. (also for 15.289)
41.166 - Please make this a single, this is less effective to introduce a rigid jumpglut in comparison to everything else.
1:03.328 - Closed jump should play better than making this a [14].
1:17.442 - Missing a jump.
*2:01.642 and similar - This bit is where things start to deviate and with how hectic the structure of the chart is, 44th bursts (?) here seems a bit much. Your common denominations about the chart has been mostly doing sparse 32nd continuous bursts or even some polyrhythmic bits, but this starts to get the players even more frustrated about hitting these. I would advise nerfing these bits of bursts into 36ths or even more conventional 32nd bursts, but with slightly harder patterning for progression's sake.
2:13.683 - I think you might be better off not forming a minijack for these streams as it's a lot stiffer to play them right - you've done quite a bit of rigidity in the first half as is, so it's going to be better with loosening up the wrist rotation.
*2:25.491 - The off-96th former jumps are fine, but please streamline this bit maybe a little less rude. This is technically correct as-is, but oh boy this would be the most hated section after everything else in this chart thrown at you so far.
This chart works in a mechanical sense - mostly comes down to a few slight departures in your structure being on the more convoluted side as time goes on - this isn't inherently bad in any way, which it works to your forte, but I'm going to take a guess that you'll keep this chart in some capacity and maybe trying to buff the first half to make it a little bit closer to the difficulty of the second half. The only closest comparison I can think of while playing this chart is that this is more rigid than your Braindead chart, but this is different in how you approach the bursts (even more ruthless Adcar, no less). However, I don't think I have a clear, concise suggestion on making this a required fix, as you have two alternatives to go with, either:
1) making the bursts on the second half streamlined to a point that it doesn't get too convoluted or any more annoying to deal with as is, or;
2) trying with harder patterns on the first half, but at a point where it comes closer in terms of second half's density but not as reckless in comparison. This is a more difficult approach, but I think it would make sense as part of this chart's difficulty progression.
I wouldn't FR this because there isn't anything that is objectively wrong about the chart, but I do urge you to consider on this chart's approach to be a little bit more clear, as this is definitely a point of contention where this fits as one of these two bounties (committing to a lower-mid 100s, or flat mid 100s). If there's another FR'd point by the other judge, maybe you should get another look as it's more pressing. [7.5/10, Change Recommended]

Checking in on the status of this submission, as it's past the 1 month probationary period with a "Fixes Required" flag, but there's been no acknowledgment of judge notes or fixes submitted.
Files/Songs with the "Fixes Required" tag require at a minimum a fix submitted based on the above notes from judges, or a response appealing the notes involved in the reason for it being labeled as Fixes Required.
I will check back on this at a later date. If it does not receive a response or fix by then, it could risk rejection.

will get to this hopefully within the week

I am pretty attached to the 40th bursts in the second half, minitrills included, and sacrificing those would majorly go against my intent with this file. I am fine with this being backloaded because it fits the song. That said, I don't want it to be gross to play, so I did nerf the sequences with all of the 40th bursts--not by nerfing the 40ths really, but by nerfing the polys that bridge them. A good few of those notes turned out to be totally auxiliary and it makes just as much sense to omit them as to keep them, and so I hope by omitting them the playability will be improved. I also turned the staggered 96th jump thing you both pointed out into bursts that start with a hand, and removed the 32nd triplet transition into the second one to make them easier to parse. Please let me know if this works.

Changes looking good. I see that you also slightly changed a section in the first half and it's a bit more harder now. I'm fine with it. FR removed.
