DREAM SNATCHER (storn42) [7.5/10]
>Perms, metadata, sync good

0.255/13.588/20.255/26.921/33.588 - No hand? Compare 6.921
40.255 - Maybe hand? It’s CymbalCrash, though I guess it being a jump currently would lead up to the additive layering of 41.921
43.588-57.755 - What’s with the PR on the 8th jumps? Sometimes it’s a jumpjack, and sometimes it’s not
48.380 - Should be hand. Additive layering of Vocal (jump) and Drum (single)
1:04.005-1:04.317/1:17.338-1:17.650 - Why white note?
1:10.463-1:12.546/1:23.796-1:25.880 - Some hands on these jumps would be nice here
1:20.150 - Why does this snare get a jump, but not 1:03.484/1:16.817?
2:02.755/2:16.088 - Why hand?
2:08.380/2:21.713/2:25.046 - Maybe hand?
2:20.255 - Why is this single, but 2:06.921 isn’t?
2:26.921/2:30.255/2:33.588/etc - Maybe hand?
2.57.130-3:20.569 - What are the white notes going to?
3:22.756-3:37.339 - See comment on 43.588-57.755

>>Mostly straightforward & consistent file. Could’ve used more hands, but w/e

Judge Score: 7.50 - Change Recommended

6.921 - not hand, or add hands to other cymbal crashes in this intro section
10.671 - jump 16th earlier, keep the snare minijack motif
41.921 - 1:00.255 - (subjective) MIght be more impactful to have better placement of minijacks in this section - would suggest forcing them only onto the kick-snare drum pattern like at 42.650. Currently just feels a bit random
46.713, repeats - idk, I kind of feel like a note should be here, but I’m not going to force it / would also need to add notes like 45.880 for consistency
58.275 - what is this minijack following?
3:21.089 - end - Kind of odd how there’s no minijacks here, contrast the 41.921 section I noted

Sure. No major complaints. Some minor touch ups and this is good to go

@ositz

0.255/13.588/20.255/26.921/33.588 - No hand? Compare 6.921
- think i'm gunna leave it as a jump. i'd rather the section be a bit more chill to match the rest of the intensity of the section.

40.255 - Maybe hand? It’s CymbalCrash, though I guess it being a jump currently would lead up to the additive layering of 41.921
- i'll leave it a jump. i think the contrast works nicely.

43.588-57.755 - What’s with the PR on the 8th jumps? Sometimes it’s a jumpjack, and sometimes it’s not
- pretty much just following what my gut tells me. basically when there are two clean vocalists it has a more stable pitch so the jumps get anchored, with some leeway for the 16th streams.

48.380 - Should be hand. Additive layering of Vocal (jump) and Drum (single)
- fixed

1:04.005-1:04.317/1:17.338-1:17.650 - Why white note?
- its the guitar notes.

1:10.463-1:12.546/1:23.796-1:25.880 - Some hands on these jumps would be nice here
- similar to before i'm gunna keep the layering light.

1:20.150 - Why does this snare get a jump, but not 1:03.484/1:16.817?
- fixed

2:02.755/2:16.088 - Why hand?
- additive layering of the guitar/drum anchor. fixed up the section to make it more consistent.

2:08.380/2:21.713/2:25.046 - Maybe hand?
- no :)

2:20.255 - Why is this single, but 2:06.921 isn’t?
- fixed

2:26.921/2:30.255/2:33.588/etc - Maybe hand?
- this is literally the one massive dense JS and you want more notes?!

2.57.130-3:20.569 - What are the white notes going to?
- again its the specific guitar notes.

3:22.756-3:37.339 - See comment on 43.588-57.755
- fixed

6.921 - not hand, or add hands to other cymbal crashes in this intro section
- removed the hand

10.671 - jump 16th earlier, keep the snare minijack motif

46.713, repeats - idk, I kind of feel like a note should be here, but I’m not going to force it / would also need to add notes like 45.880 for consistency
- i tidied up the section to only minijack following the double kicks.

58.275 - what is this minijack following?
- double kick

3:21.089 - end - Kind of odd how there’s no minijacks here, contrast the 41.921 section I noted
- fixed it up to be like the earlier section
