Mixed pick with handstream jumpstream integrating mionijacks and more fast paced jumpstream and a few stream parts. (Overall stream pick with minijacks and some trills) Most likely around 95?

EXILE (Znow)

**- Music offset is incorrect, should be changed to 0.877.

*What dictates these 16th patterning in the opening?

16.835 - Not quite sure why column 1 is anchored like this. (so does for column 4 at 17.599)
**18.268 - Why are these turn into 24ths?
38.714 - Missing jump.
38.905 - Should be a hand according to your structure.
39.382 - Why is this a jump?
1:01.898 - The patterns feel snappier in a bad way - this is faster than 24ths, and then your 4th jumps made it unclear.
1:17.503 and similar - Long anchors. Try to spread them apart.
1:27.822 - These 24th pattern felt too similar to a structure of a chart that existed for quite a while in other games and this in of itself feels unnecessarily dumped.
1:40.051 - I have no idea what are these long anchored jumps are supposed to go, even forces almost a 2-second long anchor at points.

Going to stop the review at this point - this chart feels very bland and still got quite a ways to go before this is considered acceptable. Structure is really messy, and the 24th dumps most of the time made no sense, even though I get that this is meant for a scoring benchmark. [5/10]

NOTE: Do note that the final rating will be given after the second judge has given their notes, so please be patient!

1. The 16ths at the opening try to reflect the song to its fullest. In doing so it uses the 16ths as a sort of transition between the sounds.

2. 16.835, 17.599 - The anchors there were intentional which is seen from column 1 and 4 due to a sound that's present there that doesn't appear much.

3. 18.268 - Changed to 24ths due to the background sound which is seen more at the ending.

4. 1:01.898 - Was meant to be burst jumpstream due to the change in intensity.

5. 1:27.822 - Took inspiration from the IVH file but in hindsight I'd probably change the second half as I think the first quarter - half could be justified.

6. 1:40.051 - Tried to make it more denser but as a result lead to more anchors. Could fix this to add more variety.

Exile (Znow) [5.5/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC NOT OK (Offset off by a 32nd/48ms)

2.217-14.446: This whole intro doesnt seems to reflect the song too well; the most prominent synth is doing 16ths gallops, yet what seems to be layered is just some select notes of that synth + the background rising synth (on the 5-notes 16ths).

14.446: Hand for the crash?

15.784: Could have added the 32nds in sections like this to add some variety, although this is subjective and would increase the difficulty a fair bit.

18.268: These 24ths start on the third beat of the measure which makes them feel quite random. Also the background sound they go to is nearly inaudible in this section so they're a bit too intense for the song at this point.

23.236: Same as 18.268.

24.765 & 25.147 & 25.529: Jump, kicks there.

26.484 & 26.580: Also jumps, kick.

27.392 & 28.156 & etc: These 32nds would add so much variety to this otherwise constant 16ths.

38.905: Hand here, crash.

39.382: Why jump here? Seems random.

1:02.599: Wrong layering in these 24ths. The kicks aren't on every 4th here.

1:03.172: Could end with 32nds to emphasize the drum roll transition.

1:23.140: Why the minijack here?

1:27.726: Jump, kick.

1:49.988: 11-notes long (14) anchor, and 29-notes long (!!!) anchor on column 1. Those aren't justified musically.

This chart has a nice intensity rise throughout and feels like a decent stam challenge. However, the layering approach is very limiting and results in patterning that feels quite same-y everywhere despite the song offering subtle changes in most sections. There are also technical errors that are pretty noticeable on a first playthrough. This will unfortunately have to go back to the drawing board to add a bit of flair to the overall chart.
