Diabolic Swing (Elite Ninja & Pizza69) [8/10]

- Perms, metadata, sync are good

0:04.271 - Probably better as 3 I think
0:07.787-0:08.021 - PR? Mirror those notes
0:08.724 - Move to 2, compare 0:12.240-0:13.178
0:10.131-0:10.365 - Took me a while to realize where was this going to but it's veeeeery subtle
*0:15.990-0:18.334 - What are those jumps going to?
0:26.713 & 0:34.213 - Missing note
0:32.396-0:32.631 - Suggesting color theory for this
1:00.287 - That 232 is an ouchie
1:26.303-1:26.537 - Those are technically 32nds, not 24ths. Double check for 1:33.803 timestamp as well
1:36.381 - Subjective, but should be technically [13], compare 1:36.029
1:48.412-1:48.490 - Incorrect snaps

Solid file. A few minor QA enhancements could be made to this and it's good to go.

Note that in this bounty batch, as the judging happens live, it may take a bit before a second judge looks at the file. Please be patient. Thanks!

Diabolic Swing (Elite Ninja & Pizza69)

- Offset's fine.

Solid song choice for an OT pick.

2.396 - Understood why the 24th swing isn't pitch perfect as it's a lower note, but just wanted to point it out there.
8.881 - There's a semblance of missing 24th here, but it's fine to omit it I think?
16.224, 18.099 - Not sure why these are jumps.
30.053 - Hand?
35.678 - Not sure why this is a quad.
44.037 - I think this roll should go outward, not inward. (12341234, not 12431243)
51.537 - ^ (though this seems to be more complicated to fix as there's a jump to end it on)
1:00.287 - This doesn't work as a minitrill as much as I'd hoped, would be fine if it's a descending roll. (a la 214321 or something)
1:25.365 - Cool way to spice up a pattern here, solid choice.
1:26.303 - The simplification of 24ths are fine, but these are fine if these are 32nds. (you'd probably want to do another pattern than split jumptrill though)
1:29.359 - This should form a two-handed minitrill (as in, your minitrill should be on the white note, not on the green, see 1:25.609)
1:48.412 - Mistimed in general, should be on the 16th.

This is a good finesse chart on controlling the rhythms between swings and the solid chunk of jumpstreams and bursts are mostly fair. You both definitely did what you could for the song and this would be a very nice release for the given round this will be in.

Despite the amount of nitpicks I have (in general it's mostly controlling the burst patterns to be in line with the former patterns by design), I have no problems on accepting this at all. Some cleanups would improve the palatability on this chart but that is manifestly not necessary. [8/10]

A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
----------
Note Count changed: 1956 => 1963
AVG NPS changed: 13.30914 => 13.35677
Hand Bias changed: -24 => -25

Everything not specified below we applied the judges suggested changes.

Deam
-1:00.287: Full disclosure, I (Pizza) put this in as a funny and then both EN and I liked it a lot, we think we're going to keep this as it is.
-1:36.381: I see what you're saying, but I don't think there's any way to make this symmetric without forcing weird jack stuff that I don't want to force here.
-1:48.412: This is heavily approximated to maintain flow. This is the same sound as 1:38.022, where you can more clearly tell there's quite a bit more going on than just a 16th here. The goal with using 24ths was to differentiate this from the other bits while still feeling flowy from a playing perspective.

Mipha
-8.881: Omitted to maintain emphasis on piano 24ths e.g. 9.819.
-35.678: Big Ass Trumpet
-1:00.287: See Above ^
-1:48.412: See Above ^

File is good to go! Thanks for you notes Deam and Mipha ^^
