- Offset's good.
geez this is mean
I have general concerns on how this plays out as a very difficult 110+ file. The idea is fine, but they are not fully fleshed out and the biggest concerns that I have is the ungodly amount of spikes this chart has. So I'll go through them with just the playability concerns for this review.
11.518 - Taking note that this is generally a 235bpm 48th jumptrill, which is essentially around 352.5bpm trilling on both hands, which is rough. This isn't inherently wrong at that, but...
>**12.029 - You're gonna have to compromise with regular jumptrilling, because split jumptrilling is very much worse to play and transitioning into the anchors and the hand is super, super hard to do.
*15.775 - The bursts here feel definitely more of an issue to me - they're not continuous to the next 4th, but they stopped until 15.837 (the 48th). This section in particular is just very tough to deal with and coming out of that section is incredibly difficult to avoid bad judgments, even for the top players.
17.858 - This is a 24th minijack on the hand, which is about 43ms window to even hit these. (and they are so brutal)
22.411 - This minijack timing window is much shorter and almost mechanically impossible to avoid damage, even after the subsequent minijack on the left to compensate.
**32.965 - This 4 note jumpjack is way too difficult as is. You're essentially entering a vibro stance and this is almost impossible without getting a boo.
42.794 - I think you might be better off breaking the jack into sets of 2 (essentially two minijacks but on alternating hand), this is already very hard to hit as is.
A lot of the concerns I have with the jacks in the whole chart is that they're way too constrained into a column or two that is essentially giving you the feel of having longjacks even, and at high BPM. So more of that concerns are easily fixed by breaking the jacks up into sets of x, are way better than what you currently have for playability.
*1:01.305 - The anchor on column 3 is gnarly. (1:09.475 as well but on column 2)
1:23.114 - This staircase bit is very difficult to hit. Avoiding damage on this is already superbly hard without other arrangements.
*1:56.731 - You were able to get away with the rapid 48th trilling on both hands, but you're not going to get away with this adjustment. (forces a pseudo-anchored jumptrill on the same hand)
Structurally, this chart is okay - I just think the whole file is way overcooked with its layering being on the extreme side of abrasiveness. I genuinely feel this chart could be really cool with a lot of the patterns being toned down but the way you are doing isn't particularly well-controlled on the difficulty curve. It has some good moments with the way you PR'd the stuff at the calmer break, and some of the motif with the bursts that I really like (something like 1:13.901, etc.) are also quite enjoyable.
But unfortunately I will have to place a reject on this file. I do urge you to tone down a lot of the spikes here, because the song is cool to do hard stuff like this. [5.5/10]

Grains (GH3luver) [5.5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
12.029: Hmmm, split trills like these (with a 5-notes long one hand trill on one side) at such speeds aren't really comparable to rolls like 11.518; the split ones are much more difficult in general. Probably just use rolls on both except make the second burst ascending for example.
15.773-16.369: This is too convoluted of a pattern for what it goes to. The song is basically 4 fast glitches, and this pattern forces not only triplet onehand trills on each of them, but also stuff on the opposite hand at the same time. Even by removing the opposite hand stuff, it's Still too heavy. Would suggest simply making them 4-notes bursts which give a lot more flexibility and can still be patterned in a way to keep the intensity high (i.e. not just four "1234").
17.901: Far too fast of a minijack here. Probably just underlayer the hands here and at 18.411 as jumps (12) and (24) respectively.
21.986: See 17.901.
22.071: Move to column 3. Too heavy on left hand.
22.156: Just 1234(12) here. The bursts are already tough as is, no need to make the speed up ones difficult patterning on top of it haha.
22.411: Same here, just a simple 43214(123) would be much cleaner.
28.114: Given that this directly follows the tough bursts, it'd be much friendlier to start with (34)(12)(34) and then have the (23)(14)(23) at 28.369 instead. As is, the left hand has it way rough.
33.220: The jack is already difficult enough as is, again you could simply underlayer this hand into a (34) and it'd play quite well while avoiding the boo trap on the left hand.
33.943: For these bursts, similar logic applies with 12.029. Would suggest removing the 24th at this timestamp, and making the entry into the burst a 32. So from the hand at 33.731, it would be (134) 42432 13241. Same for the other similar bursts in the chart.
36.880 & 37.901 & etc: Can't put that 12th in the 16th jack suddenly. Keep it on the opposite hand.
42.837 & 46.922: Here again, the 16ths jacks should be left alone as they're spiky enough.
59.348: Here too.
1:01.200: See 22.156 and 28.114. Basically this is already in the middle of tough triplet jumptrills and gluts, so a rolly burst would be enough. Also probably better to make the first sets the (23)(14)'s and the ones after the burst be (12)(34)'s instead.
1:09.390: Same logic.
1:23.007-1:23.773: This is near impossible to hit by anyone and is quite overdone, especially on the second burst which could just be accurately charted to the waveform.
1:33.986: Once again, underlayer to a simple (34), it's already at the end of a "longer than usual" jumptrill.
1:42.156: Same logic.
1:54.688: These bursts now suddenly contain a 24th minijack, that's not necessary and unjustified by the song.
1:57.050 & 2:01.135: Only occurrences of the 16th being on the same hand as the following 12th. Change PR.
A good amount of the notes provided apply from 1:46.497 to the end too.
Super dope song and really interesting chart. Unfortunately the flow of it is greatly affected by the patterning decisions and requires too many fixes to go ingame as is. It has a Lot of potential to be a high difficulty chart though so I really encourage you to take a solid look at all the provided notes and resubmit to other batches.
