Pull Up! (EppuJoloZ) [5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
9.655: Watch out for unjustified long anchors. 9 notes here.
22.855: Anchor again, 10 notes.
28.854-48.054: The background "wubs" the 8th jumps layering goes to is far too subtle relative to the loud hihats. While it's a nice attempt to add variety, this section should still layer the 16ths just like the section at 9.655, and not every 8th.
38.454: Much too spiky for what it goes to. A (12) jump here is fine. Same for 2:04.854. One thing you could do in this kind of scenario is to either underlayer to a regular jump with no minijack, or minimize the transition complexity of the hand by doing something like (12)(34)(12)(34)(134)24. That way you keep the hand for crash layering, you isolate the minijack, And you simplify the jack motion to a jumpjack which is friendlier than a (34)4 motion.
1:07.254-1:25.179: The vocals here are too off the 16ths. This layering doesn't work.
1:45.729: This is a bit mean. Moving this 16th to col 1 and changing the 8th to a (24) would be friendlier.
2:24.054: The layering here feels a bit arbitrary. The wubs actually hit on every other 4th starting from 2:24.204, which makes it a bit odd (although debatable) that the hands are the other 4ths given they dont have any additional sound.
2:25.554 & 2:25.629 & etc: This is quite the layering scheme, to have this fast drum kick result in handstream but then fully omitted to give this jumpjack motif space. It's understandable, but not the most intuitive.
2:26.454 & 2:28.854 & 2:30.054 & etc: These hands really don't share the same sound that the jumpjacks go to. This further reinforces the idea that the "first 4ths" should actually be jumps, which would allow isolating the jumpjacks from the transition into js/hs.
2:51.654: Should be a (12) according to the surrounding layering.
3:11.454: Not sure what this jumptrill goes to.
3:32.154: Why a jumpjack here but not at 3:33.504 or 3:34.554 for example? The jumpjack usage in this section seems pretty inconsistent.
4:12.054: This is pretty unacceptable.
4:20.792: If this is layered, why not the other inflections before? Feels a bit out of place to have just this, even if it's arguably the more audible one.
4:32.392 & 4:32.479: Missing notes. A couple more missing in this ending too.
Good attempt at making something out of this; song is nice but it's not an easy one to chart in a consistent yet interesting way. Unfortunately, there are too many structural issues that really impact the playability of the chart. There's potential, but a decent rework would be necessary.

Pull Up! (EppuJoloZ) [5/10]
- Perms, metadata, sync are good
9.655-10.855, 11.305-12.355, 21.055-21.955, 22.855-24.205, etc - Huge anchor lengths, break them
38.454 - Change to jump instead of hand, this is not great
**1:07.254-1:23.604 - Most of these jumps don't line up with the vocals. They're not straight snaps and instead randomly going off-sync. If you want to represent them, then you need to use off snaps here, or either not represent them at all
**1:29.679 - What is this 16th jump? What is it going to? This section should be straight dense JS according to your structure
** ^ Alternatively, why not use the layering you did at 0:09.655-0:27.580 instead to vary up layering segments? And at the next segment (1:45.654) since there is a new ticking sample introduced, the dense JS there would make more sense there
1:45.054-1:45.654 - Oof
1:47.754-1:48.054 - Missing jumps to the snares, check for other iterations as well
**1:54.954-1:55.254 - Placing this in a middle of the JS is really gross. Don't do this, it's not pleasant especially at this speed and when the primary motif of this file is straight JS
1:57.354-1:57.654 - See 1:47.754-1:48.054
2:04.854-2:22.845 - PR here is oddly arbitrary. I see that it's roughly trying to go with the song, but why not have an established structure for the PR here?
**2:24.054-2:51.654 - This part is aggrevating and also the spikiest segment in the file. The split jumpjacks are exceedingly difficult and in a 5 minute long file like this it's definitely not fun to play
3:11.454-3:12.054 - Jumptrills here starting too early, it does not follow the song. Double-check. It should start from 3:11.754
3:12.654 - Missing note
*3:12.954-3:29.754 - PR here feels too loose, I suggest to tigthen it up a bit
3:31.404, 3:32.004, 3:33.804, all the other single 16ths - Ghost notes
**3:56.079 - See 1:29.679
**4:12.054 - Jeez. Don't do this, the rolls are already spiky as it is, with the hand there it's already a guaranteed rush (remove hand, use [34] instead)
4:20.792 - Why a 32nd particularly here?
**4:31.029-4:31.254 - This is a lot harder than a [12][34] jumptrill. Change it to [12][34] patterns
Ending - Same issue as 1:07.254-1:23.604 where a lot of the notes aren't in line with the synth
This chart is rather straightforward & mostly consistent, but suffers from many problematic spots based around the jack segments. There's also the problem of a few very noticable long anchors that don't seem to be justified with the song. Another thing that needs to be improved is the PR in the breaks, and the note sync for both the intro and ending of the song.
This song is cool and has potential to be a long stamina file, but needs to be cleaned up from all those spiky jacks & trippy patterns that play like a landmine rather than a challenge.
