REJECTED
45.063, 45.324: Do these notes actually exist?
49.259: separate from trill
66.411-66.933: Tighten up anchor usage, the trills here don't make too much sense for the song.
72.802-73.194: Not sure it makes sense for these two bursts to both be rolls of the same quantization.
78.998: This is pretty prominent to omit.
116.302: separate from trill
117.281: White quad feels like way too much here, the previous hand is significantly heavier than this.
* 118.063: Why 32nds here? It seems to be ghosted entirely, and the sound at 117.868 is much more textured/imo worthy of being followed with 32nds. See also 126.411/etc.
122.172-123.281: Is the column 2 anchoring here intentional?
157.129: Column 4 to distinguish from previous trill?
166.585: Perhaps make this 24th pattern more ascending to distinguish it from the 32nds? Something like 42312 would be fine.
177.737: Missing 16th?
* 182.455-183.585: Column 3 is pretty heavily anchored in this stream. Since this is coming out of a long right-handed jumpjack, I'd advise moving some of the strain to the left hand here.
192.411-222.933: The use of 32nd bursts here... works, but it does feel a bit unintuitive after using 24ths for sounds like these in the first half of the chart (e.g. 54.672-55.976).
** 257.107-258.411: This misses a *lot* of nuance in what the song is doing. Please be more attentive with the rhythms here.
** 276.149-290.236: When playtesting these, I was super confused on what all the flams and such were going to and could barely hear them at all. Looking in editor, I can still barely hear most of them. I can now see the motivation behind this, but I don't think it plays well or fits the song well at all. Please pare this section down a bit to make it more comprehensible.
The midsection of this file particularly is quite nice, but I felt that the file became quite difficult to parse by the ending. The quiet hi-hats in general I found to be a bit overdone throughout the file, including earlier sections, although they play less of a role in the song for most of that and so it's less noticeable in the chart. I do feel like the ending of this file would need a substantial revamp to make it to acceptance though.

With My Fist (M0nkeyz) [REJECT]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
16.845: Right off the bat it's very jarring to lose the layering of the "16ths" here.
45.063 & 45.324: Can't figure out what this goes to.
49.259: Ghost note?
52.845: Missing jump.
1:12.085: Missing note.
1:12.932: Missing four 32nds?
2:20.041: Ghost note. Vocals aren't layered here.
2:38.172: Missing a couple of 16ths?
3:01.976: The 16ths are still so loud and clear when this transitions to the long 24ths, it feels arbitrary to play until close to the end where the buildup starts to make sense.
3:03.933 & 3:04.194: Missing notes? See the following iterations too.
3:04.813 & 3:06.900: Ghost notes. See the following iterations too.
3:20.237: Dunno if intended but this is 32nds. Same for 3:26.498.
4:27.019: No notes between this and the next 4th?
4:29.497: No roll?
4:36.149-ending: This entire ending section is super unintuitive and too quiet to follow. Needs a redo.
Overall while the chart is mostly coherent and has fun parts, there really is a lingering issue with how unintuitive the 16ths layering is. Due to the song's relatively constant high intensity with a lot going on, many many of the 16ths either feel like ghost notes or missing notes and it's not entirely clear how the chart attempts to solves that. The above notes are really not exhaustive and just random picks from a single playthrough + some slowed down checks. Very tough song to chart, but unfortunately this would require a good amount of fixes and consistency checks.

@Op
16.845: I disagree, there's a clear seperation between the sections because of the pause at 16.455 and then a new element (the drums) is introduced.
45.063/45.324: There are some buzz sounds there, I agree that the buzzes and stuff aren't super consistently followed the same way in the chart, but I can clearly hear the buzz noise.
49.259: I can clearly hear a note there :S
52.845: Added.
72.085: I omitted that one for gameplay reasons.
72.932: Kept those out because of difficulty concerns.
140.041: The sound of the hi-hat/percussion is there.
158.172: Added.
181.976: Fair enough, I just think 16ths don't quite match the intensity there.
183.933 & 184.194: I find these extremely hard to hear.
200.237: Yeah, it's intended, the other buzzes are way faster and stepped as 32nds for difficulty concerns. At this speed I don't think the player notices the 24ths being too slow.
267.019: Added.
269.497: I didn't do it at 177.672 either, I think the distortion isn't pronounced enough to highlight.
276.149: Fair enough, I can remove the quiet hi-hats, they were admittingly experimental.
@Pizza
49.259: Done
66.411-66.933: Not entirely sure what you mean, is it because the 8th isn't connected to the 4th on the second trill? I think trills are fitting here. It sounds like hi-hat(HH) - HH - HH - snare into HH - HH - HH - Crash
72.802-73.194: Fair enough.
78.998: Alright added them as white notes.
116.302: Done
117.281: I agree, but the quad signifies length more than the direct impact. Quad might be overkill though, made it a regular hand.
118.063: Turned these into white jumps like the rest of the buzzes in this section.
122.172-123.281: I guess yeah, I really like the [2][3] trills here, repeated trills often lead to anchory patterns. I can change them around if you think they're a concern.
157.129: Done
166.585: Done
177.737: I can add this one and the one later on as well.
182.455-183.585: Well, it starts heavy on the left hand, but I moved some notes from column 3 to the left side.
192.411-222.933: I think the sounds in the first half are significantly different and spread so far apart that the player wouldn't notice.
257.107-258.411: Not sure what you mean.
276.149-290.236: Yeah they're quiet, I thought following the hi-hats and soft percussive elements would keep the chart interesting from beginning to end, but I agree they're quiet and I can easily remove them.
It seems like the chart was rejected based on the ending mostly. From what I can tell at least. This is something I can easily change by just removing the quiet notes. I'm not sure if I can appeal this, but I feel rejection based on the ending is a bit harsh considering it's a complex 5 minute chart. Also, alot of the hi-hats aren't necessarily easy to pick out but they do add to the intensity of the song, if I were to remove all the quiet hi-hats the song would feel undercharted. I'm also interesting in how it plays, I know judges aren't playtesters, but I'd love to hear if anything is spiky for when I reupload it.

I'll inspect the chart when you reupload and I'll discuss with pizza. No promises however.
Also, my side of the reject rating was more of an accumulation of things that made the chart feel a bit arbitrary at different points. The ending, the 24ths buildups, the soft percs on 16ths that were often hard to follow. Yes they may keep the intensity high, but a good couple of them felt more blurry than anything and it added up.
