Accept, was debating between FR or Accept but I chose the latter because I feel like the layering is very loose but it's thematically fitting through the entire feel of the chart. My reservations came from the point of how the chart's approach was taken since it's maybe too heavy for my taste, but I also think this really didn't detract my experience of playing the chart at all, which is a plus here.

My other qualm is that maybe the 16th jumpjacks like the ones on 1:36:xxx felt a bit much but I completely understood with what's you're going for. There would be a somewhat better way to layer this so it doesn't feel all too heavy by limiting the jumpjacks to be kind of one-handed but I'm not sure how to do this either, so this is just a food for thought.

Chart is solidly layered and given with some considerations to its replayability, this definitely ticks most of my boxes and I feel players will appreciate this more.

This chart has structural concerns that are too major to ignore.

Firstly, there's 30 seconds at the start with nothing close to the difficulty of this chart + another 51 seconds of it in the second half; that's 1:20 of very easy filler, or more than a third of the chart. This could either require a cut, more abstracting in those sections, or an entirely different approach to the chart, but as is it's hard to overlook.

Secondly, the charting decisions on the 32nds are difficult to justify. There are very subtle things like 30.849, 59.649 (the "hey"s), 1:03.599, 1:53.449, etc. that are being abstracted with 32nds, but then there's stuff like 54.049, 59.049, 1:35.649, 3:06.548, etc. that are much louder and clearer. This makes the chart become quite blurry and feel overcharted, despite an attempt to make patterning distinguish them.

The wubs in general are quite nice on their own and the patterning is interesting.

ACCEPT

I also feel that 32nds are a bit overused in parts of the chart, primarily within the first half (e.g. 98.049 / 101.249 / etc--I assume these aren't jumps like the stuff just before because the timbre is a bit different? But it still sounds much more similar to the stuff just before than it does to the rest of the 32nds (of which there are many) so it's a bit unclear.) That said, I am absolutely in love with the sections like 186.449-190.849, what beautiful patterns those are.

In summary, my recommendation would be to look through this for clarity and to ensure things are not too homogeneous with the 32nds, but this is quite fun overall.

Checking in on the status of this submission, as it's past the 1 month probationary period with an "Accepted" flag, albeit there has been no response from the Stepauthor or fixes submitted.

Typically, we allow a 1 month period for reading judge notes and any last minute changes that the Stepauthor wishes to apply to their file before release, and we encourage at least acknowledging or reading the notes the judges have provided. This 1 month period can always be sped up by applying a fix and marking it as finalized, or by simply leaving a comment that notes are acknowledged and is finalized.

Because of the "Accepted" flag, this song will be automatically accepted and pushed through to release. So, if you have any fixes to apply, please get in-contact with me so I can retroactively apply them for our Difficulty Consultants to accurately rate the file.
