This is a superficially fairly chill breakcore song with a lot of fine details in the drum beats. I stepped all of them very faithfully, which led to a chart full of complex bursts. It's hard to read but very manip-friendly apart from a few gluts/minijacks.

Mezzotinto (jacobvl39)

- Offset's fine.

32.074 - Missing jump.
41.884 - This sound is a bit too sharp to use 48th here, imo.
52.944 - You could make this a [34][34][12][12] jumpjacks here to kind of break up the middle column anchoring.
1:14.791 - Maybe make it to [134] to not force a minijack on column 2 here. (also applies to 2:19.357)
1:15.118 - Feels weird to use singles here.
2:23.596 - [34]?

This chart feels fine to play overall. I'm not the most fond with 32nd or 48th burst choices here since they're sometimes not as sharp for a sound that complements the structure of your chart. Not really my cup of tea, but it's acceptable. [7/10]

Mezzotinto (jacobvl39) [6/10]

- Perms, metadata, sync are good

0:29.873 - This note is too subtle, can be removed.

0:33.704-0:33.949, 1:18.704-1:18.949 - I wouldn't necessary use jumps here. This is a streched sample that doesn't have a kick or punch to it.

0:34.642 - I'm not sure about not including a note here.

0:35.335 - Not sure about this being a jump, it's pretty distinct from the jumps coming after that.

0:38.759 - Too subtle to be a jump imo.

*0:41.857-0:41.965 - This is rough to hit. Would recommend changing this.

0:42.998 - Sounds like this should be trills.

0:48.378-0:48.623 - Sounds are sliced here, no need for jumps.

0:49.357 - Can't hear a jump here.

0:51.313-0:51.884 - The jump usage here feels messy, not sure what's going on here. Recommend checking this again.

0:52.291-0:52.454 and other repeating gluts like that - Damn

0:56.041 - Too subtle to be a jump

0:59.397 - Missing note

0:59.954 - Same as 0:42.998. Alternatively, 0:34.642.

1:05.824, 1:08.107 - same as 0:56.041

1:10.471-1:10.512 - I could see these two notes being mirrored - since they come and go.

1:13.487-1:13.772 - Starts earlier than should, please recheck.

1:14.465 - The sounds here are ascending. Feels weird that it's just [34][2][34][2].

1:34.723 - Ghost note? I can hear nothing there.

1:37.291 - Suggest different placement for that, it's not the same as the 4th before it. Maybe a [14] will work.

1:42.346 - Suggest mirroring the last 3 notes since there's a different glitch snare.

1:42.835 - Why [23]? Based on the previous 4th this should be [34].

1:43.161 - Same qualm as 1:14.465

1:48.868 - Why single note?

1:55.063-1:55.878 - Questionable PR all around. Also there's a jump in there (1:55.634) that is misplaced and should be a 96th.

1:57.590 - Veeeeery subtle. Shouldn't be a note there.

2:07.128 - Subtle to be a jump imo.

2:09.656 - Missing note, but kinda subtle anyway.

2:13.324-2:13.813- Questionable PR on the jumps that also accidently form an anchor with the [12] jumps prior.

2:17.563 - There are no 32nds here.

2:22.454 - Better placement for this would be [34]

2:24.411 - Suggest moving this jump to the 16th since that one is more noticable.

2:24.900 - The 32nds start earlier than should.

This chart has a lot of odd placements, odd PR, and some consistency issues as can be seen in some of my notes. It needs a bit more polishing before I could consider it Accepted. It's really close though.

That said, this is a rather unique approach to the chart, I don't think I've seen anything like this in any other file within the level of Mezzotinto, and it can make an interesting challenge for some players.
