Retribution (Hairy Cabbage) [6.5/10]
>Perms, metadata, sync good
1:103-2.986/4.869-6.752 - Where’s the 8ths? Compare 8.635-15.225
4.280-4.751 - I suggest making this section all singles to clarify this as a break section
6.752-6.987 - Where the 16ths?
9.341-15.107 - What’s up with the minijacks in this JS section?
18.050-18.873 - Should have a different PR than 16.167-16.990
21.816-22.639 - Should have a different PR than 19.933-20.756
28.641 - If jumps are going to vocals, then this jump should be on 28.583
29.112 - Ghost jump. No vocals
29.348 - This jump should be on 29.289
36.644 - This jump should be on 36.585
40.763/41.646 - Missing note. Vocal
48.413 - Missing jump
48.707/48.737 - Missing note
49.590-49.825 - Different pitch but same hand pattern?
55.709-56.533 - Should have a different PR than 53.826-54.650
59.475-1:00.299 - Should have a different PR than 57.592-58.416
1:02.300 -This jump should be on 1:02.241
1:03.948 - This jump should be on 1:03.889
1:06.066 - This jump should be on 1:06.007
1:06.537 - This jump should be on 1:06.478
1:06.772 - This jump should be on 1:06.713
1:06.949 - Missing jump. Vocal
1:17.364-1:19.953 - What are the hands going to?
1:24.896/1:26.779 - Should be single. No Cymbal/Snare
1:27.720-1:30.545 - What are the jumps going to?
1:32.428/1:34.311 - Should be single. No Cymbal/Snare
1:39.018-1:45.609 - Could’ve added more hands to the CymbalCrash’s
1:46.080 - Maybe jump. CymbalCrash but no Kick
1:52.199-1:53.141/1:57.848-2:00.673 - Where the 16ths?
>>Minor vocal sync issues aside, the file’s layering is very inconsistent

Retribution
-----------
- Heads up, you've got your file an extra folder deep compared to usual. Etterna didn't recognize it and I needed to pull it up a layer.
- Permission, metadata good.
** Sync drifts late. The offset is good, but the bpm needs to be changed to 255 flat. Timestamps given with this change made.
- 2.985: This stream could be a lot more interesting. Right now it's basically just rolls that reverse. Why not vary it up a little more? Or introduce jumps for kicks at 3.338 / 3.691 / 3.926?
- 8.044: Ghost note.
- 9.455 / 10.396 / etc: Why minijack? I can't hear much to distinguish this sound from the non-minijacky 8th patterning.
- 14.279-15.220, 21.808-22.749, etc: There are kicks every 8th here. Given that you don't shy away from this kind of density in the 76.396 section, I feel jumpgluts would emphasize this well.
- 16.985 / 17.926 / etc: These minijacks are a bit unorthodox and remind me of the grind2 intro, but I feel they do work to emphasize the PR transitions actually.
* 23.220, 60.867: The transition out of this trill kinda sucks to hit, honestly--jack into one-handed jump is not the nicest pattern in the world. Would recommend something like this to smooth it out while keeping trilliness: https://i.imgur.com/ICTLuxs.png (Or even keep the full trill, as long as the jump is moved off of it.)
* 24.867-25.573: This pattern stands out as quite a lot more anchory than the rest of your jumpstreams, which are otherwise very rolly. These types of patterns tend to be much tougher to hit; please rebalance difficulty a bit.
- 45.573: Can see why this is omitted, but personally I think it feels a bit strange since it ignores the guitar, which I would consider the central instrument here.
- 51.926, 52.867: What are these 16ths for?
* 76.396-80.161: Please reduce anchoring a bit in this section. This is just as dense as the 16th jumpstream bits, but the anchoring is far tougher considering the 4 and 5-note anchors where the chordjacks get denser. I'd suggest reducing anchors to length 3 at maximum based on how the 16ths are done.
- 84.867-85.808, 86.749-87.690: No layering increase here like there was in the chordjacks?
--> I find this section feels a bit anticlimactic in general--it contains a lot of the same instrumentation as was used in the chordjack section immediately before, but is much less dense.
- 88.867: 3-note jack makes no sense here.
* I also find a lot of parts in the ending to be anticlimactic. For instance:
- Why is 104.632-105.573 not 8th jumpgluts after the CJ section?
- Omitting 16ths at 112.161-113.102 (etc) gives it a lot less emphasis than it deserves imo, even with the minijack accenting--one of the problems here is that those minijacks continue until 114.043, even after the 16ths end. My suggestion would be something like this (zoomed out to capture 112.161-114.043): https://i.imgur.com/qYsA7Op.png
- This could definitely be a fun spiritual successor to Reality, but in addition to the sync error which needs to be fixed, I feel there are significant patches of the file for which the intensity does not match the song's. The file will need some reworking, but I'm definitely on board with the foundation of the chart. [6/10]
