!(Z)X(Z)! (Ghost_Medley) [7.5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
57.700: Missing 16th.
1:07.225: This feels a bit odd because the same js keeps going but the song has a sudden transition to much higher energy. I don't have an immediate suggestion because it looks quite constrained to the overall layering scheme, but I'd suggest you experiment a bit and consider other options.
1:24.325-1:35.125: This whole section feels somewhat arbitrary. The motif going into it is the little isolated bursts but then for difficulty reason they suddenly disappear to make space for the dense js. The decision makes sense, but it sacrifices representation and motif. Moreover, the js just doesn't reflect the gradual increase in pitch and intensity whatsoever, which doesn't help its case.
Overall, the chart is well executed and good enough to go ingame. That being said, I personally think there's a fair amount of missed potential, and the result feels slightly bland due to the layering decisions which make it really difficult to emphasize the different intensities of the song. Still pretty fun to play regardless; the anchors and red rolls are fine and actually nice, sparce color theory.

---------
Permission, sync, metadata good.
- 9.026-11.576: Watch out for the column 3 anchor here.
- 13.601, 13.751, 14.201: Missing notes--see 11.801, 12.401.
- 18.326: Suggest different minitrill from 17.726, they sound quite distinct.
- 22.901: Misrhythm, should be on the 24th at 22.926.
- 25.676: Pretty prominent to omit imo.
* 30.026: BPM does not need to double here.
- 36.176: Patterning could be a lot more attentive to the song. The beeps play a triplet at 36.176 and a quintuplet at 36.776, so these should receive a bit more emphasis (since you are already following the beeps with an 8th anchor on column 4), but that is not where the emphasis is placed & the 16th patterning seems arbitrary here.
* The distinction in sound between the places where you use 16th runs (36.026 and 40.826) and the places you don't (38.426 and 43.226) is extremely subtle and I had to slow the song down to even be able to tell there was a difference. Strongly recommend just using 16ths everywhere for the beeps.
* 47.426, 49.826, etc.: These do not need to be all red.
- 69.401, 74.201: 32nds start here technically.
- 74.426: This should be on the column 4 anchor, and 75.626 should not.
- 92.201: Unusually long OHT on left hand here.
* 95.125: Increasing the bpm does work here, but this does not need to be all red.
- 99.801, 104.601: Missing note, see 102.201.
- In general I feel the anchor/trill focus in this works, but I don't like a fair bit of the colour theory, and one section (which I also *'d) is very, very unclear to me. [7/10]
