Playtest Impression, 1.0x Rate - Interesting take on a semi-chordjack file, but “The Parts(™)” ain’t gonna fly.

This file appears to do the copypaste and mirror trick for the repeat, so everything I list here will apply to the second half as well.

16.747 - ~22.392 - Why this sudden change to white notes for melody?
50.001 - ~52.605, 55.210 - 1:00.420, etc. - …ooooohhh boy. I can kind of understand what this is going for, but this turns out to be a pretty extreme difficulty spike requiring a great deal of one hand control. A level of control that is (imo) much greater than any other chordjack chart in this range. It feels very unbalanced both literally with the hand bias and in overall difficulty curve.

Modern FFRians would kill us if we allowed this in with patterns like that 50.001etc stuff. You’ll need to adjust them to be more friendly. I recognize this could be a contentious point of view to take with this, so I’ll keep this in rating appeal range.

>Perms, metadata, sync good

2.082/3.124/6.249/etc - Why are these ones hands?
7.681 - Missing hand
11.716 - Missing jump
11.977/14.060 - Why hand?
18.747-22.392/etc - Why white notes suddenly?
19.267 - Why jump? This isn’t part of the melody
46.875-1:00.420 - Same ol’ melody, but now it’s spiked up into one-handed patterns?
1:21.258 - Song loops again

>>Song is literally looped. Consider ending the song halfway. The file is questionable in its layering, 192nds, and spikes.

Rating appeal denied. I feel like this file would need enough changes for acceptance that it would essentially need a whole new review, rather than a simple FR check, even one with expanded criteria. In addition to the judge notes provided by ositz and Tru (which I agree with entirely), I would comment that

1) I disagree with the decision to layer in a lot of the non-melody jumps as jumps. The sounds are much less prominent than the melody, and following them with jumps lends the chart a much more continuous feel than the song deserves.

2) Much of the minijack use outside of the melody jumpglut sections doesn't make a lot of sense. This ranges from simple collisions of your PR with hands (very frequent) to places like 35.544, 35.805 where two of the notes in the minijacks should arguably just be removed.

3) Consistency could use touch-ups in general. Using that pattern at 35.414 as an example, it's followed in three different ways and using two different rhythms at 31.247 / 35.414 / 39.582.
