Reject, there's definitely some tact shown in the chart with how you use 32nd jumps and alternating trills for consecutive bass kicks, but the chart itself is probably way too heavy-handed as is given its abundance of fast OH trilling and runningman-esque patterns throughout. I'm guessing that jumpjacking the OH trilly patterns is mandatory here, which is fine but ultimately not a great feeling for me.

I think my biggest reservation with the chart is the general additive layering done here -- a lot of the 16th doubles are to the 32nd synth rhythm + hi-hats, but it's hard to feel it during play and it feels very very overdone. Using doubles for just the kicks and snares I think would be sufficient, and it'd give you more leeway when it comes to patterning as well. The second half is also considerably easier than the first half despite the song not changing very much, which I'd attribute to the additive layering done here. That said this is slightly out of my skill level (I can AA 0.95 comfortably but I think I'd have to grind 1.0 to get a AA), so do take my feedback there with a grain of salt.

REJECT.

I really think that this chart could be super fun without the 32nds added into the fast drums. There would still be a lot of place for varied patterning and layering, and the drums would feel far more relevant. As is, the barely audible 32nds take all the space difficulty-wise and it makes things pretty hard to follow, even at 60% speed. It also causes forced unjustified anchors due to the lack of possible patterns. This is a structural issue that can't easily be corrected so I have to reject, but I'd love seeing this resubmitted without the 32nds in the drums sections.

I may have made this chart too over the top for what FFR would find enjoyable. If I were to make the chart less additive with the jumps and whatnot, would you consider it more viable?

Personal preference would be to change all of the jumps to hi-hats + 32nd rhythms to singles with some pattern changes to make it a bit easier, and I'd probably accept it that way. That said I don't know if I'll be judging future batches so my opinion isn't very valuable here

This gets a reject from me.

As far as dump goes, this feels way too much to be expected to FFR as this is very deliberate on its 32nd OH-trilling and thrown in broken handstream at 170 32nds, which are super rough. Personally I don't think this works as a dump file either even if you removed most if not all the 32nds in this, since it's mostly structural problem like what OP has mentioned.

Matthias also reviewed this file and deemed it too hard to give a rating.
