tarolabo blanket permission. Initially submitted to the 100+ batch, but rejected for being too easy. The only changes since then are the sync, the intro, and the break starting at 1:01.084.

Note on the song information: the correct title is indeed "aballava(?)", but folder names can't contain question marks. Some BMS pages list the author as "Team:SASAKURATION / Goten", but Goten is an alias of tarolabo, and Team:SASAKURATION is there just because this song is made out of the sound elements of AVALON, so the actual author is just tarolabo.

- The sim folder name isn't as expected: "aballava (jh05013)" vs "aballava(?) (jh05013)"

✔️ This chart has been marked as final and shouldn't receive any more changes.

aballava(?) (jh05013) [8.5/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

9.258: Ghost note.

20.985: Ghost note I believe.

25.485: Probably shouldn't be on col 1 given that it's not the same drum sound as the other 16ths on that column there.

25.144-28.963: Actually this whole little section is slightly confusing because it layers two subtle sounds on the 16ths, both the drums and whatever low synth that is. Not super intuitive and plays kinda arbitrarily.

32.372: Not a minijack, it's not the same pitch as 32.235.

1:36.451: This jumptrill doesn't sound accurate. It seems like there's an accent on both 1:36.451 and 1:36.587, and then the real jumptrill starts on 1:36.792.

Pretty solid execution, fun buildups and quite balanced. The layering scheme is a bit unintuitive at parts and could maybe use some PR to help distinguish the instruments better. Very few inconsistencies. Good job.

-----------
Permission, sync, metadata good.

- 10.690: Is this jump just for the rush? Seems a bit much to me--the jump at 10.281 is backed up by percussion and has an easier transition into the burst, so feels more fitting.
- 25.690: Why's this a hand?
- 28.077: This is pretty prominent to ignore. 28.349 too, arguably.
- 32.372: Lower than previous note.
- 36.190: Lower than next two white notes--any way to rearrange this?
- 37.730: Recommend different colour since you were just using white notes as colour theory for something that sounds quite different.
- 44.380, 46.562: Seems like an odd place for a jump, likely more effective on the beat at 44.449.
- 45.744: May fit your layering scheme better to use a jump here instead of on the beat.
* 56.903: I don't hear a 3-note jack here. I think the white notes in this little section (through 57.539) are doing a lot of different things here as well. This section needs to be clarified, and perhaps to have a layer removed--it's too convoluted and obscure right now.
* 59.085: Same as above, though 59.630 is a bit clearer and makes sense as a jack imo.
- 86.838-87.519: Watch out for left hand.
- 92.974: I was a bit confused here at first, but this layering drop is a clever way to keep chart intensity low enough for the 16th piano run at 95.156 to be climactic.
- 96.826: Pretty noticeable 32nd here, would be nice to acknowledge--perhaps 24ths like at 97.065.
- 101.701: If you're starting to omit notes here, why not earlier in the jumpstream?
- 105.383-106.201: Watch out for left hand again.

- This chart is really aggressive and follows a lot of very soft piano & percussion. As such, it's kind of hard to pick out exactly what is going on sometimes, though the jump/hand layering is generally quite clear and focused. My main concern here is in parts like the ending where the jumpstream suddenly becomes broken and it's not clear why. It's also kinda funny to me that this was rejected from 100+ batch for being too easy, it is <100 but it's only a couple points shy lol. [7/10]

Thanks for the notes. I've been busy with some very important stuff lately and can now work on this a little, but this file is a headache to fix. I think I need a little bit more time, sorry. This file is mostly jump/handstream so it's not the best fit for the tournament anyway.

Anyway, to address some sections: in 1:32.974-1:35.155 the piano changes to 8ths (see 33.326-35.508), so I follow drums instead for 16ths. Same for 1:41.701-1:43.883, and the jumpstream right before that follows piano too.

I'll update it this week.

Sorry for the delay. Layering stayed roughly the same due to lack of time, but applied other comments. Most notably:
- Rearranged the white notes in 56.903-59.630 to match PR, and colored some of them (Unfortunately, the sound at 57.402 uses a different color from bmah's AVALON chart since it might be confused with actual 24th notes)
- Rearranged some notes where one column had too much pressure
- Slightly nerfed 1:35.155-1:36.246 (formerly a spike imo)

One last fix: changed the layering in 43.630-46.902 to be more intuitive
