Azure of the Horizon (DarkZtar) [8/10]
>Perms, metadata, sync good

30.998/31.325/33.071 - Why jump?
47.907 - Why no hand? If you’re doing jump b/c it has no background melody attached to it, then you might want to explain the hands previous to this spot.
1:15.178-1:15.506 - How about changing this from [14]22[34] to [24]2[13]3 for better PR?
1:29.141-1:29.469 - Pattern sounds closer to [124]234.

>>Straightforward and consistent.

- 0:26.307, 0:33.616, ect. These 16ths sound like ghost notes. Its barely audible if anything is there, even at slower speeds. There is a clear 8th pulse. so i'd recommend removing the 16ths.

** 1:16.924 I'll be honest, these jacks are a massive spike in difficulty. While accurate to the song, the jacks feel like they just come out of nowhere. While there are some jacks in the intro, they are few and far between. It just doesn't feel to me like the rest of the chart supports the difficulty of the jacks. If there was more build up to the jacks, or the jacks were made easier I feel it would be more justified. One idea could be to use minijacks for that bass sound at 0:21.289 like: https://i.imgur.com/QCQal0W.png Or maybe chart the new percussion that comes in at around 1:04.706 with jacks like: https://i.imgur.com/X9FuTBI.png You could also just take the current 4 note jacks and turn them into 2 mini jacks. I just feel that something has to be done to balance out the difficulty of the chart.

I honestly thing the file is fine for the most part, but i have serious concerns about the difficulty of the jacks. Either a nerf to the jacks, or some buffs to sections of the rest of the file would make me feel a lot better about the jacks.

Quick check-in to see where things are with this file, as it has been past the month grace period for fixes, and has not received any note acknowledgement, or fixes.

I don't get why the jacks are a massive spike since they make up the entire back half of the chart. Having a "spike" be half of the entire chart doesn't make sense to me. Just move to reject if chart as is is not acceptable.

Goldstinger asked me to take a look at this file in a kind of rating appeal way.

While I definitely agree with Storn on the jacks being a relative difficulty spike, I also think they are relatively well balanced when compared to other prominent jack files in this range (eg. Star Gate). Their placement in the last half of the chart does create a pretty unbalanced overall difficulty curve in my opinion, which would only be smoothed by some potentially weird/inconsistent buffs to the first half or a nerf on the jacks themselves (probably minis). I'm okay with this concept, or consider some of the ideas Storn listed out.

I'll remove the requirement to adjust the entire difficulty curve/nerf the jacks.
The other notes ositz/Storn gave may also be worth consideration, so I'll move this to a CR rating.
