Vida (Xtreme2252) [6.5/10]
>Perms, metadata, sync good
>Dunno why the entire file is half the actual BPM. Had to play this on Halved Noteskin to save my eyes from the color overload
28.275 - Ghost note
33.022 - Missing note
36.453 - Maybe jump
40.815 - Sounds closer to 40.842
41.879-42.411 - Such a weird sync approximation to this ascending noise
46.387/46.546 - Technically 32nds
47.145/47.783 - Ghost note
50.496 - Move this to [1] for better PR
57.996 - Missing note
1:00.709-1:00.788 - Should be three 48ths instead (should be from 1:00.709-1:00.815)
*1:02.624-1:02.863 - You forgot to PR these singles
1:03.741 - Move this to [1] for better PR
*1:08.847-1:09.246 - Fix PR
1:09.964-1:10.124 - Could do a minijack-single pattern (like 223) to express this jack noise and differentiate it from neighboring PR’d singles
1:12.437 - Missing note
1:12.517-1:12.796 - Could make this pattern more comfortable by doing a 12341234 roll instead
1:13.794/1:14.751/1:15.070/1:16.347/1:16.666 - Missing jump
1:16.826 - Should be single
1:17.304 - Should be anywhere but a [3] for better PR
1:23.927 - Missing note
1:26.081 - I suggest moving this to [2] for better PR
1:29.432 - Shouldn’t this be a jump?
1:29.512 - Shouldn’t this be a single?
1:43.741/1:44.911 - Missing note
1:44.991 - Sounds closer to 1:45.017
1:47.145 - Missing note
1:47.544 - Sounds closer to 1:47.570
1:50.097 - Sounds closer to 1:50.124
1:51.374 - Sounds closer to 1:51.400
1:57.757 - Sounds closer to 1:57.783
2:00.336/2:00.948/2:30.788 - Missing note
2:32.544 - Jack should stop here and the fading-in noise could be stepped instead
2:46.826 - Roll should stop here and the
2:47.624 - Missing note
2:52.411 - Shouldn’t this be a jump?
2:52.570 - Shouldn’t this be a single?
3:00.390 - Missing note.
3:01.347 - Missing jump
3:11.320 - Should be [2] for better PR
3:19.459 - Missing jump
3:25.842-3:46.267 - Similar sync issue in previous sections. Recheck the orange 32nds. Some of them should be moved a 48th closer to the waveform peak
3:55.443/3:55.762/4:00.868 - Missing note
4:05.735 - Ghost note
4:08.209/4:10.044 - Missing note
4:10.124-4:10.363 - The sync on this jumptrill is completely wrong
>>Lots of minor mistakes. Could use better PR and more consistent layering. Unpolished at the moment

- Permission, metadata good.
- Sync is early, change offset -0.390 -> -0.400. Timestamps given with this change made.
- Folder contains SSC file, please remove.
- 30.719: This sound is quite a bit sharper than 30.400, could be nice to have this on column 4 to create a trill for emphasis.
- 34.389, 47.155: Remove note here or add at 28.007 and 40.772. (I prefer removing these.)
- 40.826: Move to 40.852.
** 42.258: At the very least, this pattern needs to change to not end in a 48th one-handed minitrill. I also feel this pattern is a bit more continuous than the song merits, and might suggest 2-note flams instead of continuous 48ths, like so: https://i.imgur.com/TWYW5qa.png
- 43.804: You don't shy away from using 64ths later in the file, this seems like a great spot for them.
- 44.443: Could maybe get a flam treatment like 29.762 did. Pretty striking sound.
- 44.602: Why jump? Why minijacks into and out of this? Very soft sound for this much emphasis.
- 47.475: Why jump?
- 47.794: Ghost note.
- 48.352, 48.512: Why omitted?
* 48.911: These flams work great for sounds like 29.762, but are not at all fitting here--this is clearly just a 32nd triplet. A minitrill would work fine, as would a minijack (e.g. [34]32).
- 54.336, 73.485, etc.: Should be a 64th triplet, as at 28.326. This is also part of a rather long unintentional anchor on column 2.
** 56.570, 69.336, etc.: This forces a pretty tight minijack on column 2. Recommend making this a single and redistributing to avoid a minijack, like so: https://i.imgur.com/6QS8kMS.png
** 62.634: This jack is extremely spiky and also not technically correct. Please remove.
~~
At this point, I will stop giving an in-depth technical review. Many of the issues mentioned so far crop up again later in the chart, especially those I've marked with "etc." in the timestamps. Please keep an eye out for similar issues. From here I will only comment on general impressions & important notes that I can clearly pick out from a single pass through on 1.0 rate.
** 72.767: This minijack transition needs to go.
- 80.826, etc.: Should be triplet as at 29.762.
- 151.118: Jacks to such muddled sounds as this are generally extremely hard to time, consider changing this up.
- 171.464: This is also a reasonable way of following this sound, but conflicts with your approach at 29.762 (and pretty much everywhere else in the chart).
- 235.453, 235.772: Missing notes.
* As a general note, watch out for unintentional anchors and minijacks that don't make sense. There are a few that go on longer than they should which are pretty easy fixes, e.g. move 89.921 to column 3 (anchor), move 109.230 to [14] (anchor), 117.687 off column 1 (minijack), etc.
- I really do want to see this get in because the song is great, but unfortunately this chart still has a ways to go. Quite a bit of consistency work is needed, and going through the file tightening up your anchor/minijack usage would do it a lot of good--you do good work on this sometimes (I really like the 8th minijack usage in the intro, for instance) but a lot of it gets muddied by anchors you don't intend. There are also a few spikes which need to be resolved. [6/10]
