ACCEPT.

This chart is overall pretty solid. Here are points of interest imo that could be worth looking into:

1. Sections like 39.212 and 1:00.558 are charted nearly identically; the former sounds like it should have fewer notes than the latter.

2. The trilly nature of some of the polys, while good for flow and ease of transitions, makes the abstract charting a bit vague at times. See 1:58.919 for example where the left hand essentially does a 10-notes trill, then one transitioning "21 12", and goes on to do a 28-notes trill. Could explore other pattern variation to add emphasis to the sounds that are layered in an abstract manner.

These elements however are not major cons and the sections still play very nicely. There is a fun fluctuation of difficulty too.

Fixes Required -- it's a tossup between accept and FR for me. Chart is solid as is and plays fairly well, but there are some bits throughout the chart that didn't feel right to me. No specific FR condition because I have a few qualms about the chart, but none of them are deal-breaking or anything.

* I feel that bursts like 39.546 and 39.879 are a bit much given how soft the flourishes are, it felt intrusive in play at least. I think removing the 16th would be fine here assuming that the patterns aren't changed. The burst at 46.550 also feels a bit much but it's a lot harder to resolve; it feels as if the burst should be more discretely split up in that case. Conversely, flourishes like 59.557 or 1:00.224 feel underemphasised. While there are basically 4 notes corresponding to it (technically 3 + background melody but I think a player would process it as 4), the pattern is a flam and as a result, feels a bit airy. I'd suggest creating a 12th minijack or two with these 24th bursts to give the bursts more weight to them. You already do it somewhat in the second half of the chart, but it's good to start earlier I feel. It should also differentiate these bursts further from flourishes like 39.546, which resolves the homogeneity concern a little.

- Minor point, but 53.887 to 54.554 is super strenuous on the left hand especially given the patterns before it. Would suggest changing it in some way to make this RH biased or at least more evenly distributed.

* Really do feel that there can be a stronger physical accent than just grey notes at 1:20.741. I don't think bursts would fit so maybe minijacks in lieu of the grey notes would fit better?

* I can somewhat hear what the bursts are going to in 1:36.583, but it's overshadowed by the much higher-pitched 8th synth in this section. This section is really hard for me to follow intuitively as a result -- I'd strongly suggest following the 8th synth melody here, and you can place bursts on most 8ths (e.g. for sounds like 1:36.750, 1:37.083, and some 4ths like 1:38.918, basically the ones that you have on the left hand). But if other judges feel that they can hear the bursts pretty clearly then ignore this.

- There are some odd strings of longer one-hand trilling (usually left hand) in the second chorus, but I think most of it stems from how the flourishes create a 24th + 16th polyrhythm more than anything else. Changing them to just 24ths should give you much more leeway. I also didn't mind those strings very much in the first place.

32nd burst section is fine. I fear that it might be a bit overbearing for some players, but I feel that the bursts should be treated as jumps anyway, so it's a matter of getting used to it. This isn't the most out there dump chart (I'd probably be fine with this in a regular batch), but it works fine.

Accept

This is prety damn solid. One of the highlights of this batch to me.

Interesting stuff, and a pretty unique challenge for FFR. Nicely done!

Thank you for your submission to the dump batch! Don't forget dump files can also be sent/resubmitted to any regular batch.

Thanks for the notes guys, will work on this asap

@wiosna

- 39.546: Adjusted as per your suggestion.
- 59.557: Same
- 80.741: Respectfully disagree, I personally think grey notes convey the sound better than minijacks.
- 96.583: To me the chippy chords are most prominent, those are what the bursts are going to.

@OP

Kinda fixed the sameness between the sections by following Wiosna's suggestion.
I also attempted to make the patterns less trilly

Might send it over to one of you for playtesting and change some more things later

If you feel that the chords are the most pronounced part of that section then I'm fine with you keeping it -- other judges seem to be okay with it as well. No issue if you disagree with 80.741, so you can send it to Op if you want a second opinion

Gonna move this along as-is due to Accepted rating, despite not being marked as final. If you have a fix, contact me directly with it so I can apply it for Difficulty Consultants.

As requested by M0nkeyz in DMs, I've looked at the fixes. Looks very satisfactory imo, great job. The polys are much more interesting now and the intensity changes are represented more accurately. Feel free to upload those.

edited version, more jack-oriented and less trilly. Also exactly 1900 notes! Thanks for playtesting Oppie.
