STARSTRUCK (Velocity) [8.5/10]
> Permission check good.
> Sync is slightly off (Currently at 1.285, should be 1.282). Notes for this judgement will be based on this sync.
> No issues found within simfile properties.
> ‘.sm.old’ file found within submission folder contents. Suggest removing. No other issues found within submission folder contents.
-[00:19.051] Hits weird with PR going in the opposite direction (descending rather than ascending).
-[01:11.384] iirc previous iterations of this used 32nds instead of 24ths here. Suggest that all iterations of this pattern get normalised throughout the file, whether it be 24ths or 32nds.
-[01:17.884 / 01:18.384] jumps here are kinda pushing here for what’s being transcribed; Woulda preferred singles here instead of jumps.
-[02:00.051 -> [02:01.384] Make this section, different from 01:57.384 -> 01:58.384 or vice-versa (1m57s different from 2m0s), for PR sakes and repetition sakes.
-Jump structure is a little bit over the place in this chart, but I really enjoy the flow execution and the streams. This gets a pass, although consider checking the last timestamp near the end of the chart. There's some indecisiveness as to whether or not to flag this file for FR, so will likely get referred to a 3rd judge for resolution on that.

[7.5/10] Fixes Required. (Jump usage explained, 24th trills nerfed)
Permission: good
Metadata: good
Offset: good
Like every recolorizer file this one bugged out on DDreamstudio, so I have to review it in arrowvortex
- 0.048 - 9.881: Your way of emphasising these should be the same as 1:19.215.
- 9.381, 9.881: These notes are higher in pitch than the previous white notes.
- 10.215: Why is this not a jump?
- 35.131: These jacks are bit spiky, I'd prefer them being triplets, but it's up to you.
- 58.881, 59.548, 1:01.548 etc. : Why are these not jumps?
- 1:07.298, 1:07.548: Same here, I think using jumps would be extra nice here because of the syncopation.
- 1:10.048: Why jump?
- 1:11.048: Jump to snare, you made the kick a jump at 1:11.215, but you're not really using jumps for the kicks in this section and 1:12.881 is a single to that same sound with the snare at 1:13.048 being a jump
- 1:11.381: This should be the same as 13.715.
- 1:16.298, 1:16.548 etc.: There's probably some logic behind this, but I'm not following the jump usage here. 1:17.381 is a jump to the kick as well.
- 1:29.131: shouldn't this be similar to 10.215, here the 8th is a jump and the 16th is a single.
- 1:38.715: Not a jump, and then 1:40.048 is a jump again.
- 1:52.715: These trills are spiky, why are these 24ths trills all of a sudden when you didn't emphasise previous instances of this sound like this. (See 1:41.381, 1:46.715)
I hate using ArrowVortex :/, anyway I think the file is quite fun to play. Jump usage should be clarified and I think the 24th trills are way too spiky.
Me and goldstinger didn't agree on the 24ths so a 3rd judge is going to take a look.

trumaestro-
The 24th trills were noted to me as the primary concern. I agree with M0nkeyz' note that they're inconsistent -- previous uses should be included too. Agree somewhat with gold here too, they are spiky for the overall difficulty, but I think they're okay.
If you're concerned about it, I think the sound it goes to stands out enough colour-wise that they could be stepped as 20ths instead of 24ths.
I would apply an FR flag to ensure consistency on this point either way.
