Chapter II (Then) (Skayles) [9/10]
>Permission good (within limited perms)
>Sync good
>Folder contents good
>There could be some debate as to the proper title of this song. This is labelled slightly differently on each of Youtube, Spotify and Bandcamp. Going to say the metadata here is probably fine as is because it almost seems like the band can’t decide either lmao
>Absolute banger m/
20.193/33.715 - advocate for minijack (subjective af, can leave as is)
Hell yeah! You nailed it. Great as is/no issues/notes subjective. Excellent work!

Yeaahhh it's a bit of a silly situation with the titles lol. The original title is just Chapter II (other tracks are just Chapter III, VIII, etc.) But they annotated each track to distinguish them on music streaming services (i think this was just personal preference because titles like "Chapter II" are so heavily saturated)

46.390, 51.461 would recommend moving these off the previous jumps to highlight that the singer is not present here compared to th previous jumps. That way, you have some distinction from other places like 48.080 and 49.770
1.28.010 lol. it's fine, but it does feel a little unnecessary when there is a clear point at 1.34.770 where the music shifts where you can transit into a 2/3 trill instead, since an index-fingered trill is generally more impactful than outer-fingered ones, and the music does ramp up here.
1.44.066 hand?
1.41.531 this final section is somewhat unclear in its minijack usage. Stuff like 1.43.855 / 1.44.700 are minijacks, when identical sounds directly adjacent (so no musical changes) at 1.45.123, 1.42.165 etc. etc. (there are a lot of these) aren't minijacks. Some jump usage is also a little unclear, e.g. why is 2.03.714 not a jump (snare hit) when 2.03.292 is? (Feels like the latter may just be an extra jump?)
Overall, I do think there was a bit of mismatch between song intensity and chart intensity at times, e.g. at 1.28.010 at the very start of this crescendo, where it's soft, there's lots of jumps due to the additive layering right away, and the patterning is extremely anchored The section at 2.03.193 onwards could probably do with some more layering too to beef it up, in my opinion. File's pretty solid in general.
