I added the link of the artist's site to the "Permission URL" section. There is a section called "About Secondary Use of Music". According to the undermost article of this section, we do not need to contact them to use the artist's songs. Accordingly, I came to the conclusion that we could use the artist's songs. Accordingly, I came to the conclusion that we could use the artist's songs.

- The sim folder name isn't as expected: "Piano Concerto No.1 Scream (Snupeh)" vs "Piano Concerto No.1 "Scream" (Snupeh)"

Piano Concerto No. 1 “Scream” (Snupeh) [6/10]
>Permission has been deemed okay after some internal discussion
>Sync good
>Folder contents good
>Artist name might need to change to “Cape Nakajima”

(Playtest Impression) -Something- feels off here…
38.172/38.354 - feel different in pitch, recommend shifting one to [4] (worth noting that there are a bunch of other places in the file where two notes like this sound very different but are represented with a jack motion)
39.354 - ghost-y to me
42.808 - ghost-y, 4th after missing
43.990 - feels ghost-y but can probably leave it alone
44.081/44.263 - somewhat subjectively missing
45.717 - 16ths seem to continue to 46.172
51.626/51.717 - somewhat subjectively missing
51.808-52.172/53.263-53.626 - not jumps anymore?
56.717-59.263 - Personally don’t like this representation. The [2]/[3] trill dominates when it (imo) shouldn’t – it gives the impression the music is trilling or otherwise similarly repetitive pitch-wise, but the music clearly descends throughout this so it feels off.
59.354-59.899 - not hearing these notes at all
67.444/79.081 - could opt to include the piccolo(?) that counters the piano here (subjective af, can leave as is)
98.565 - ?? No reason for this grace/is the only one in the whole file so seems out of place
99.444/99.626/99.808 - these are so quiet, imo shouldn’t be jumps

In addition to the above notes, generally, the chart plays very loose with conventional notions of pitch relevancy. Sometimes, I find myself enjoying this execution – whether intentional or not, the file seems to be trying to use more pattern-based gestures toward pitch rather than strict adherence to per-note pitch relevancy. Eg. I really like the pattern choice at 33.081-37.808; it accentuates the piano really well.

But, this still needs some considerable improvements in overall execution as the file falls flat in many areas. The detailed notes are more errors, but subjectively some pattern choices can be improved as well. Watch out for jacks that don’t accent a repeated note – when they’re slower 8ths (eg. 11.626, 13.081) they stand out more especially when there isn’t much layered. Also watch for likely unintentional anchors (eg. the [3] 64.717-65.626, [2] then [3] 78.899-81.444) that don’t fit the music very well. Hopefully this gives a bit of an idea on some more effective and even better flowing pattern choices you can make.

I can see this getting into the game at some point, but this needs some fairly extensive fixes.

20.353-44.353 - What are the jumps going to?

>>File was going well until 20.353-56.717, 1:02.171-1:23.444, and 1:38.535-1:54.413. This file is undercooked and I’m not sure what’s being stepped. Lots of the 16ths feel like ghost notes. If it’s just piano, then this file needs to be consistent on that.

Thanks for the notes.
