29.545/30.305/31.064/31.824/34.102 - stylistically I think this section would be better without these notes, to better accent the melody (subjective af, can leave as is)
39.514 - feels like a ghost
39.609 - 32nd drum fill feels too prominent to ignore/inconsistent (compare 41.128)
51.381 - can fill in with 16ths similar to 47.963, but the piano here is much softer so it makes sense as is (subjective af, can leave as is)
81.476 - feels missing. Recommend you include the note, but avoid the difficulty spike of a 3- or 4-note jack that could result from this lol
82.330-83.849 - feels like an oversight, i.e. inconsistently following …something different… here. Suggest reducing to the piano like the rest of this section 77.773-about86.887
102.457/repeats - same suggestion as 29.545 note
114.229 - better to end it here imo. The file ends kind of awkwardly as is. (subjective af, can leave as is)

This one needs a few touch-ups, but is otherwise decently solid. Definitely hits the classic Shiki/nostalgia vibes. This one really works well as a tribute.

Fractal 7.5
39.608 missing burst
54.039 not capturing the trilly modulation of the synth here is a missed opportunity imo given how much the file focuses solely on foreground melody
This is...just one of those files for me when it comes to judging. There's very little technically wrong with it, most everything is reasonably placed, jumpstream patterning is understandable and carefully designed.

I'm just a little unsure about the file overall: you start the player off with about 20 seconds of jumpstream in the intro, setting them up to expect even more intense things later on. Then the big crash at 17.013 hits, and...the music kicks it up a notch, but then the file jumps to like mid 50s in difficulty and hangs around there ouside of some sectional transitions here and there.

Either more aggressive layering is needed outside the intro, or the intro could be toned down some to make the buildup stick harder. Probably the former in my opinion; the file swings quite heavily between feeling somewhat underwhelming and underemphasized to Dense Jumpstream Hours out of nowhere. Outside of that this file is still very technically solid, hence the pretty decent score I'm giving it.

Thanks for the notes. Following the suggestion to put more layering overall, I may need more than a week to update it.

I'd like to have this rejected unfortunately. I'm planning to start working on it on April or later, and it would have to be rejudged since putting more layering would significantly alter the chart, so I'm going to resubmit it in a future batch. Thanks!

Okay, still looking forward to it!
