Requiem (Skayles) [7.5/10]
>Permission check fine (Blanket)
>Sync looks fine (No changes necessary)
>Metadata, Folder contents fine
I'll note I'm slightly biased against files like this as I don't like this type of music for rhythm game purposes.
If we're going to have files like this, they need PR to be executed basically perfectly. This file as is is pretty good in that regard, but can still use a final polish. My notes relate entirely to PR as I think this file is solid structurally.
30.465 - should have a (probably 4) note here, especially given the note at 31.608
35.036 - same idea as above, (probably 2)
43.036/43.607 - should make a jack, recommend [13] on 43.607
67.609-69.860 - I'd make this 32[134]2
89.613-90.185 - recommend changing to 234
109.321 - would move to 3
118.752 - would argue for this being [23] or [24] instead of just 2
Even though this is an accept, I strongly urge you to polish this some more by mix-n-matching the notes from both judges before this goes in game. Other than that, this will be a solid addition to FFR's piano ballad files. Nicely done!
*Note that starting with the May/June 2021 batch, two judges will review each file. Ratings are not final until both judges have posted their notes and the file status is updated.*

Skayles - Requiem [7.5/10]
Syncing [*/3]: (3/3) Syncing looks good. Nice DDream syncing!
Playability [*/3]: (3/3)
- Short accessible and fun file. Difficulty of the file is well reflective of the song's simplicity. Great song too!
Technicality [*/3]: (1/3)
- 8.193 - 9.326, 108.753 - 109.901: PR can be improved here. Maybe [4][3][2][1][23]?
- 19.607, 22.467, 24.752, etc.: You have two choices here. Either you can emphasize the harmony notes with jumps or you can map them as singles while reserving jumps for more apparent chords. I personally prefer the latter due to simplicity of the file (which means you would have to change all appropriate jumps to singles. There needs to be some jump consistency here for sure.
- 43.608: I recommend [13] to maintain PR.
Recommendations [*/1]: (0.5/1)
- 77.897 - 97.324: I personally don't think it's worth stepping the 8ths here. I think the simpler this file, the better. This is optional.
- To avoid having all red and blue notes, I would recommend halving the BPM to introduce 16ths. It will make the file more engaging.
Rating [*/10]: 7.5/10
- Great first file! Three main takeaways: I would recommend trying to be a little more consistent with jump usage, work on some minor PR issues, and consider making the file less stepped with very faint noises.
