This file is pretty much the intro of a clonepa song, there is a clear distinction between the piano part and the breakcore part. I tried to be as consistent with my patterning as possible to highlight the subtle changes that occur with the kicks/snares.

lmao what is this star trek 4 soundtrack or something

32.359/33.109 sound pretty similar in pitch, make same arrow? And adjust the pattern after if needed I guess

...Sure. I don't know what the hell I just played but it's overall technically sound and would make for a ...different... easy file.
Keep sending weird stuff yo!

Whales of Iocaste **8.5
** I am very sure the song name is "Whales of Iocaste" (Iocaste being a moon of Jupiter), not Locaste, haha. You can check that it's an I, not an L, on this link: https://soundcloud.com/clonepa/whales-of-iocaste - please fix
27.109, 30.109 etc. oh man not stepping these feel like such a missed opportunity. I'd do 24ths here - I know some people would balk since it's the wrong time sig (these are actually 32nds), so this is a very light suggestion, but...you have 32nds later anyway, so this isn't a difficulty spike, and very prominent indeed. Please consider (you obviously don't have to do it once the drums kick in at 39.109, at 51.109 etc for e.g.)
42.859, 48.859 probably should have an arrow for the gong here
1.03.109 look!! you even do it here :)

Very solid easy file, best file of this set for me for sure. Would have loved playing this as a D2-3.
**CQ: go fix the song title in the .sm lol

Fixed the title LOL, oops!

I changed pretty much everything you guys suggested, except I didn't follow the gong sound. I feel it's more of a texture thing that helps form the ambience of the song. (I'm not following the pads either for example)

I agree putting 27.109 etc. in is cool and adds a bit of variety as well. I played around with both 24ths and 32nds, but I decided to go with 32nds because they felt a bit more natural to me. I also changed the ending to 32nds to be congruent with this. (The ending isn't much harder and the motion is way more satisfying to play now imo)

I kept the 32nd patterns really simple (up and down staircase) and I didn't give them much variation so beginner players can get used to the motion/pattern when grinding this.
