The Sun and the Star
--------------------
- Permissions, metadata good.
* Sync is slightly early, change offset -0.014 -> -0.024. Timestamps given with this change made.
- 4.908, 10.489: Very minor concern, but I'd prefer to see these moved so the anchor's not connected to the previous jump since the percussion is not quite the same. (e.g. [24] 1312[34] at 4.908)
- 16.332, 21.914, etc.: I see why this is here, but it does feel a little unintuitive considering your focus is almost entirely on the guitar and this is a pretty quiet bit of percussion. (Note removing it is consistent with later, since you omit it in spots like 66.303.)
- 55.751: Shouldn't be a jump--there's no guitar here, so honestly I'd just remove it entirely.
- 57.408: Shouldn't be a jump, see 62.989.
- 71.885: You don't usually follow this hi-hat, see 66.303.
** 75.373-77.815: While these 64ths are technically correct, they're quite indistinct and really don't fit the rest of the chart in terms of difficulty curve or patterning--they feel jarring, and not in a good way. Suggest using an unbroken 32nd jumpstream replacing flams with jumps.
- 82.873: Looks like you're using jumps for the louder hi-hats on top of the guitar, in which case this should actually be on the 32nd at 82.960.
- 83.309: Ghost note.
- 105.373, 110.955: Considering you're not following the hi-hats at e.g. 102.582 (and the fact that there are pretty audibly only 2 significant percussion sounds in each of these mini-jumptrills), these jumps should be removed.
- 116.536, 122.117: Similar to above note, except there's guitar here that doesn't play in the previous two instances. The guitar is worth following for sure, but I definitely don't feel like it and the percussion should be given the same treatment (i.e. be all part of one jumptrill), so I'd recommend using singles for it instead of jumps.
* 122.815-133.978: While not hard, this part is pretty silly imo because there's very little going on here musically and yet the 16th jacks are much longer than anywhere else in the chart. Highly recommend using trills, or perhaps alternating minijack patterns like 22332233.
- 132.582: Would also prefer if this last jack were moved off column 1, since it collides weirdly with the [12] jumpjack to the kicks just afterward.
- 138.338: Also quite minor, but I recommend moving this to column 4 to mark that it's a different instrument than 137.989.
- 138.513: Missing jump.
- Ending distortion sequence is tastefully done, nice job.
* There are a lot of instances in this chart where the anchoring is not quite right, starting or ending a little early or late. The 4.908 note is one example, 30.722 should be moved off of column 4, 45.896 is definitely too long, etc. Suggest taking a look through for these. [Note: I know you're more into charting by feel than strictly by the book, and I don't think this note is necessarily contrary to that; there are times when what you have is not strictly PR'd but works, e.g. 12.757 "should" be lower than the last jump, but the little minijack works well to create tension and the sounds are similar enough that it doesn't feel out of place. However, some anchors do indeed feel out of place because the sounds are quite noticeably distinct.]
- With that said, I think the anchory / trilly approach you take with works really well overall, it's appropriate and feels nice to hit. The chart does need a bit of general cleanup before going in, though. 75.373 is the only note that's 100% required for CQ, but please do take a look at the others too, particularly the *'d ones. [7/10]

Everything is good to go except, unfortunately, 75.373--using 64ths only for certain instances of the sound smooths out the difficulty, but feels even more jarring and out-of-place than using 64ths for all of them. I still think that my suggestion of 32nd jumpstream where you use jumps in place of flams would make the most sense in consideration of the rest of your file, but if you're absolutely adamant about using 64ths, follow all of them and make the patterning simple. Feel free to run stuff by me in DMs for more immediate feedback.

Song was changed from 'The Son and the Star' to 'The Sun and the Star' upon release due to a double-check of the song's name online and finding it only named that way on the Bandcamp. Everywhere else has the song listed as 'The Sun and the Star'.
