I've been here since October, I play two handed at 1.50 speed and I play standards, tricky, and sometimes difficult songs. My problem is that I can't see all the arrows coming, I cant scan them fast enough to know which arrow to hit. Any suggestion... PLEASE! And don't mock me or be an a-hole, I've seen enough of that **** from ppl already.

Put it to 1.25 speed, because you're saying it's too fast for you.

I think I said it wrong, I meant that there is TOO MANY arrows on the screen for me to scan in time

I played 28,000 games and i don't see the arrows too....i think its a physiological problem that can't be helped.....try 1x i'm better at catching arrows in 1x. But forget the PA.

Make sure you aren't looking for individual notes, but rather, for patterns in the notes.
Also, try x1.75 or screencut if there are to many notes on the screen at any time. |

Time + Practice = Perfection Being here since october isn't a very long time to get really good. I've been here for a year now and I am just starting to set records with the big boys. It just takes time and lots of practice. Don't give up. You'll get used to scanning the arrows in mass quantities. My strategy for getting better at FFR faster is play songs that you don't have a chance on. Like WAY hard songs for you. You'll eventually start to see their patterns. Also, play at any speed you like, I prefer 1.5 but any speed will do. You get used to seeing the arrows at whatever speed.

we were at the same position, I used playing only in standard but now I could play in very challenging, try to find parts that your good at (like jumps, etc.) and play songs only on that category, play with the speeds also, it'll help alot

If 1.5 isn't TOO fast, then use 1.5 AND screen cut a little. Gradually increase the cut and speed when you get comfortable. Try 1.75 first, and if the arrows are too fast, then try to 1.5 and screen cut. Work with a mix of mod speeds and screen cuts until you find a comfortable combination.

lol, if I looked at the arrows individually I'd die on every song. You have to learn all the patterns and know how to recognize them and hit em. This is the basis of FFR. There are only so many combinations that can be made with 4 arrows.
P.S. Screencut sux balls. 1.75x ftw. |

p.s. I hate screen cutting, and I dont think 1.75 is fast because I used to play at 2x speed |

Don't look at notes individually, see a stream pattern as groups of notes, for example, if I see a (<, v, <, v) pattern, my fingers know what to do for the next beat. Practice and time will make you better at recognizing (reading as we say).

Practice makes perfect. I couldn't AAA until after about 7 months since I started, and now I could AAA a variety of songs

if there are too many notes on the screen, id screencut, seeing thats how i play anyways, or as shown above screen cut with a speed mod, and practice is pretty much essential in this game
