DDR Issues. Konami of Japan.
I am getting very angry with Konami.
1. They are focusing DDR only in Japan. All the other countries are in the back of their minds. What's up with not unlocking the boss songs for people in America? Is it because you made a arcade system for the U.S. taking out the E-Amusement extra? 2. What's the point of taking control of In the Groove when you don't use the franchise at all? Konami had competition and was scared? Maybe, you can do something right by putting some songs from ITG into DDR. 3. What's up with the updates? It's wack. No updates for DDR arcade systems in the U.S.? Not taking the time to SYNC the song you put in your games? Not telling much to us on your websites? Hmm, you had to time to put updates in Japan. I wonder why. Please. Konami. Crying out loud. Do something right and make Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2 a hit and not a miss. You've been doing that lately with the new DDR games. |

Lol, yea Konami is all screwed up. Espescially the fact of DDR Extreme for PS2. They waited a whole freaking year to FINALLY give the code to Burger King to unlock Memories which wasn't unlockable by any other way. You also had to play a very gay flash game to get the stupid code! XD
Konami, please stop smoking crack! |

All that was decided was that RoXoR had infinged on Konami's copyright and that ITG's gameplay was intellectual property of Konami. They can't use the name "In The Groove", ITG graphics, and probably cannot even use the user interface. They also do not automatically have permission to use music that has appeared in ITG (even RoXoR doesn't automatically have permission... that would just be stupid), although they could make deals with them individually if they really wanted to (which they probably won't, if only because it's not cost effective). The point here is that KONAMI DOES NOT OWN ITG. THEY ONLY OWN THE CONCEPT OF THE GAME, MEANING THAT IF ROXOR WANTED TO MAKE ANY MORE ITG GAMES, THEY'D NEED KONAMIS PERMISSION.
