Solo would be pretty cool. I never play it on SM, but if it was in FFR (whether as an unlock or as a whole new game) I'd have a good reason to start practicing it, so +1 support. I'm not entirely sure if my keyboard could handle certain patterns but if it can't I'm sure I'll find a workaround.

for some reason, you guys seem to feel that my overall "lazy" attitude is a reason why i wouldn't want something like this.

let's be clear. i want the current aspects of the site fixed before we consider undertaking something that is as large as this. when we've tried to take on additional projects half-assed, they've failed miserably. R2, SIU, FFRock, and a bunch of others. i have no issue with considering this and potentially moving forward AFTER we have more pressing issues resolved.

also, stargroup, you seem to have some misguided notion that i would ever let you have any part whatsoever in anything to do with remotely being near a position that would let you have a semblance of control over anything. is that clear enough? be thankful you're allowed on the site at all. and beyond that that your idea hasn't been shot down.

this is basically the same exact answer i gave the last time this was brought up. nothing has changed... good enough idea; more important things to get done first.

seriously speaking, as people already pointed out, it might be a very good and innovative idea. besides, i wonder, what's so urgent that keeps this project away from the actual completion? i must admit, though, it is correct that history has shown how other side projects have failed, so nothing to complain about the "let's take the right time to do it" argument.

I seem to have forgotten that but do realize that:
First, I have changed. It's been like a year since my rants, I no longer disrespect you as I have before, and I've gotten more mature. (Wouldn't it be bad if I had gotten more IMMATURE over time?)
Second, the reason I came back was for the solo community, which I have mentioned to you before. If anything, this should substantiate my honest support for this. On top of all, this is my idea.
Third, you don't have to give me "control" over anything. My idea was that since you are inexperienced with 6 key charts (no offense, I just mean that you haven't played it yet), that there are a few of us who would know more, so we (perhaps myself and a few others) would do judging. Of course you can still have final say, just like the regular batch. We'll just do most of the main judging. Technically, we would have no control, since you get final say.
Fourth, perhaps it will be a while until this idea is put into place. But I am such an avid supporter (of my own idea lmfao) that I will do whatever is in my effort to make this happen, regardless of the cynical attitudes from everyone else.
Finally, this goes back to our previous conversation. I think you should have a little more faith in others. We only want what is best for this site. Technically, I still wouldn't have "control" over anything.

Notice how there was no rage in the above post at all haha

If you want to play a game online, just play Ultima, period.

If you're going to say something like that then why are you even playing FFR instead of SM? Games always take from other games. It's how things progress.
