It would be interesting to see how the FFR engine would be if all of the code was upgraded/optimized to the current versions of everything.
That would also be a whole pile of work. :S

Haha, I'm quite interested of that myself. The game would run faster, there would be more features they could add within the code for better user play, the FPS will be higher, the game will look so sexy and it will support HQ.
Of course, you would need a huge team of flash coders that are getting paid by Synthlight for that to happen. I'm sure he had that thought in mind once but he knows that it probably won't happen now.

Hell, if I knew how to code in Flash I would do it. I'm currently learning how to program now, so maybe in a year or so I can give it a try if no one has. :P
But yes, seeing FFR reprogrammed to run in 30 and 60fps would be nice. :] Although Flash seems to have tearing issues at 60fps. :[
